Got in my car this morning and the CD changer was displaying "ERR 7". The only thing it would do is eject a CD - CD changer wouldn't function, nor would the radio.... WTF? Anybody run into this one?

 

After getting no responses in the forum, I decided to give the security code thing a shot. I found the instructions here (in another thread) then located my code on the underside of the fuse box under the hood. I called my Acura dealer and the guy at first made some noises like he wanted me to bring it in and they would reset it, but I told him I found the code. He verified that what I found seemed like the right number of digits for the code and said I should give it a try.

Worked like a charm. Back in business!

Still not sure why the damn thing needed reset in the first place. Any guesses? Kind of a hassle, so I'd like to avoid it in the future.
