Hey guys, I am not sure if there was a thread about this before or not, but I did some searching and couldn't find anything similar except for a couple threads. Anyways, I own a 2001 Acura CL-S, all stock. Anyways, When I rev my engine it makes a weird blowing noise, not really sure how to explain it other than it somewhat sounds like a shitty blow off valve. lol. Anyways, have any of you guys had this problem? If so, help? I included a video below as well for a more audio friendly version.

 

do you have a short ram air or a cold air intake on it?

 

Like I said in the post, it's all stock.

 

I got a few questions to try to probe around:

This is noise just starting happening or has it been there from day 1?
If it just started, did you do anything different in the engine bay?

Also try taking the airbox out clean it up, also check around to see theres no broken plastic for the airbox or the piping, make sure air filter is all there and intact....

 

Noise started from day one when I got the car.

 

I think it is the air choking inside air box when you cut the throttle . It is normal

 

I think nothing special.
