I have a 03 CL Type S 6mt that has had a CEL on for a while now. I just brought the car up to where I'm living and scanned it finally today and it threw a P0219 Engine Overspeed Condition. I work at a shop and have all the tools but no time for extreme diagnosing. The car was in a front end collision a few years back and did have the engine pulled for the work they did. Any help diagnosing this would be appreciated!

thats a mechanical over-rev condition...
bent valves maybe.

have a leak down test!

 

Doesn't seem to be running rough or any oddness to the way it runs. No other codes show up other than P0219.
