I was driving home from work, doing maybe 50, since there was still a bit of traffic, and all of a sudden I hear this loud bang and feel some small shards of glass fly inward. I never even saw the rock, or whatever it was, that hit my windshield. The worst part is, there aren't openings at any shops around here for a while, according to my insurance co. Man, this looks so ghetto...

Yeah, I had my shades on, fortunately. I was in too much shock to think about what could have happened. I was really pissed off too (and still am).

 

say you were rollin wid 50 and got shot at.....j/k

does your insurance cover it? i got my replaced for free

 

Yeah, they do. I have to call them back on Monday to see if anything's opened up.

Wow. I'm sorry man. That sucks.

 

Nope. I'm pretty sure it was something that was kicked up by another car...I think. I looked over the car to see if any other parts got hit by this object, but didn't see anything. It had to have been pretty big, cause the white spot (point of impact) next to the circular spider-webbing is almost all the way through the windshield. There's maybe a couple of millimeters of glass left in that part.
