Due to a pothole attack, my front pair 18" Kazeras had their lips bent...
Not a huge fan of Chrome, but these worked out. Not sure what these are, 18" 7 11's? I'll have to check again. Anyway, enjoy!!

They are rather large.

 

IMO, you can't pull off those wheels AND the rocket launchers at the same time. In fact, stick with just the wheels if you must and lose the launchers.

I rather like the large exhaust, but it would look a lot better if they were polished!
They look like they stick out pretty far though... I guess that is good, so he won't get any carbon build up on the bumper cover...
The rims do look a little classy for the exhaust though...

 

they look like greddys but just missinstalled. and i dont like the rims, they should be on a caprice in da hood

 

i like the wheels without the exhausts or the exhaust without the rims...

 

the pin-striping is the least of his worries but, it does add up.

 

Pinstripes? I thought all CL's had them?

use mothers all purpose metal polish. it come in a jar in a solid state.

 

Nope....they all don't have pinstripes.

And, metal polish works great. I had a lot of build up when I first got my CL. I used some wet fine grit sandpaper to get it clean and then metal polish.

 

Mother's also makes a mag & aluminium polish that works perfectly.




I used it many, many years ago on a set of old alum. 5-star wheels that I got for free. They were caked with brake dust, mold, and dirt that had been there for many years (a good hand washing didn't even touch them). I had a feeling I wouldn't be able to use them on my CRX because they were too trashed but I was wrong. That polished made the finish look brand spanking new. I couldn't believe my eyes when I wiped that stuff off! Mother's FTW!

 

Ok, with all that being said about polishes...
FIRST: Clean them.
SECOND: Go out and buy "Double O (00) Fine Steel Wool". <- That is what you use to clean chrome and it is so fine that it doesn't leave scratch marks (learned that in auto body school).
THIRD: Use one of the many popular name brands for polishing chrome/stainless steel.
THat should work out great!

 

what do you mean you dont get it..
less chrome is a better effect - its not an s type cadillac its a slim sexy car and you cant put big donkey rims on it. you'll donkey kong that bitch right out ..

 

I would probably never get chrome wheels. I never had a problem with the chrome handles and trim, but wheels and shiney tail pipes were just too much.
