The CL is a good car, but ever since in hit the dealers so many car manufactures had to step up because the CL was (and still is)such a nice package and value. But I'd suggest checking out the 330i, 350Z, G35 coupe, Maxima, IS300 and definately the CL S. lol

If you love the fact that you had four doors.. then check out the new TL type S.. I think I would have bought that car over the CLS if they had it back in 2001.

The 6 speed is SO nice....you gotta weigh what you want...the CL is a comfy 4 seater...the IS and 350 Z are rear wheel which is great in good weather, sucks in the snow.... and if you need more than 2 seats....350 is out...

I like my CL but the G35 coupe is sweet and 280 horses. CLS
only has 260.

i would check out the CL-S and the G35 coupe....

280 horsies...but their times aren' that different. In the end it comes down to personal preference. I can tell you i am happy with my car....although i wish it was stick!!!

Maxima has most interior room, then comes the CL, then the G35c - and this applies to both front and rear seating areas ... if you're 6'3" or over, this will be a concern. The seats in the CL-S are much more comfortable than the new Max's, which are (surprisingly) less comfortable than the '00 SE I traded for my CL-S. In fact, the new Max seats seems to be leather covered bench-buckets, and provide almost no lateral support which really surprised me. Max's are cheapest, although a fully equipped SE costs about 1.5K less than the CL-S, but the G35c is gonna cost an addit 4-7K over the CL-S, and this is based more on the ability to haggle over the price of the CL than you can on the G35c which will go for no lower than MSRP at present (same would apply to the Max, although there seem to be some good discounts on the '03 Max's right now - probably due to the fact that the bodystyle will be new for the '04 model so they want to start getting the '03's off their lots early).

I would get the CL-S... I drove both yesterday b/c I wanted to decide & the CL-S seemed a lot quicker. Plus, the CL is alot roomier than the G35 (that matters to me cause I'm 6'5"). But both cars are really nice! Either choice would be a good one in my book

I agree with most that the G35c and the CLS6 are both awesome cars! You already had a TL so a TLS wouldn't be much different (except for the added power). I think the two aforementioned cars are the best combination of sport and Lux for the money.

G35 cost a bit more especially with options and isn't as luxurious as the CL. However its RWD and it has more power. I don't think the interior of the G35 is exciting though, its too flat.
