its alot of hassle man.. most shops will charge $1400+ to do it. I got mine for cheaper kuz well umm my boy dated the guys current gf before and she got me a hookup. + i had other body work done.. this is costing me $2000 total. for the side dent, body kit, tien ss install, and cf hood install.

Front lip:
originally it was only 1.5 inches short on both sides
coulda been made to fit but there would be gaps on certain parts
so he cut it. now it is about 4 inches short on both sides. he is using some tool they use to bend plastics and such which gets it hot enough to basically almost melt it. they bend it where it needs to be bent to fit the front correctly. the 2 curves on the left and right if left alone will leave a 1" gap on the longer side peices that go from there to the fenderwell. Once he got that done he is going to fabricate some fiberglass to to make the lip long enough to get to teh fenderwell. then the front will be done.

Sideskirts:

too long. And the screw holes dont line up to the stock cl holes. here is what he is proposing.. He is going to gutt all the brackets inside the sideskirts. then cut them to fit my old stock sideskirts. The stock sideskirts are going inside the tl sideskirts ( that way all the screw holes match)

REar Lip:
waaay too long... and the exhaust holes on the tl one are smaller (they have the circular exhaust tips compared to our oval ones) He will be cutting the rear to match our exhaust tips. Then cutting the sides kuz they extend all the way to the tire and beyond actually, and reattatching them once its fitted correctly.

all in all alot of work but ill go by every few days or so to get snapshots of the progress, so that others who want to do this will have an idea of the work going into it. and you can prolly print out the pics or something and take it to the shop where you want yours done so they have some guidelines to follow.

new updated pics.. car will be ready by monday

Im not putting on the back piece tho.. the holes for the exhaust on the bumper is too big for the tl kit which is too thin around that area.. im looking to try to modify a versus back lip to it.

Hey kevin, things are definitely looking great!! Keep up the great work.

I got a question for ya...How much does it cost to get this installed? I understand it's not a direct fit? What has to be modified? Basically if I were to purchase the kit painted, how much am I looking at a body shop to install it for?? Thanks for the heads up!

if you read the previous posts above i tell ya what has to be done to it so far. if you dont have a hookup your lookin at 1000-1500 to get it modified painted and installed.

Im having it molded to the front bumper instead just added on as a lip so that would prolly cost more. I dunno I go the hookup on it so thats why i went with molding it instead.

the back didnt look right with the tl piece ( exhuaust holes too big for the back tl kit which was only 2 inches in width.. we woulda had to cut the lip which would have only left about 1 inch maybe less on the back lip above the exhaust holes.. so i tole them to forget it and i would get a versus kit back lip to put on back there (modified of course to look less extreme)
