Yes, I currently have some forged black with machine lip wheels. I didn't like the deflector too. I tried to remove it 3 month later, but it is too late to because the deflector has worn into the paint.

I had exactly the same issue with a sunroof wind deflector I removed. I tried rubbing the mark out myself, but, couldn't budge it. I took it to a higher end body shop and paid them for an hour's labour and they went at it with their power buffers and assortment of cleaning, polishing and mark removing compounds. After they were done, the previous marks were impossible to feel, and could only barely be seen and only in exactly the right lighting conditions. 99% of the time you could stand right next to the car and stare right where the deflector used to sit and you could not see any mark at all.
If it's worth a small amount of money to get rid of the mark (it was to me and I dislike the deflectors for all the dirt and dust they trap when the car is parked), it's an option you might want to try.

Yes I think it is too deep to buff out. It was 3 month when I saw those marks, now it have been 4 years. I think now the deflector is down to the metal.

by comparison, mine had been on for 3 years and was well etched into the paint, but, had not cut into the metal (rubber should have prevented that). You'd be surprised what a knowledgeable fellow with the right materials and tools can achieve. I should have mentioned above that he wet sanded as well. In any event, your car, your choice, but, since it takes all of 2 minutes to remove the deflector, next time you are passing by a higher end body shop, you might want to stop in and let them have a look at it and give you their opinion. The estimate will at least be free.

Don't know if this movie clip will work! It is kind of a weak burnout. I should do better in a month.

The swap will cost about $2000 in parts which included timing belt, drive belts, all gasket needed. I did it myself so no labor cost just a lot of . I think you are better off building your engine, install a MDX crank and some forged rods and high compression pistons. Crower will custom built a set of rods and JE piston for about $1300 then install a mdx crank shaft $450. I will bet that will be a much stronger and better engine. I bought the CF hood brand new of a friend whom has a automotive accessories shop. He charge me $380, I think that is his cost.

CL-S was because I need a new car at the time. BMW was cheap, Celica All trac, Mr2 supercharged and civic was my childhood dream.

Thanks Goldmemberer, the CL-S is getting good stuff done in a couple of weeks. Will update everyone once it is done. "time for sleep" I just quit working for Acura. All my tools are at home, but I am not working on car at this moment. I am not in a hurry to jump back in , but who knows PM me when you are ready.
