actually today was the first day this happened...and maybe the last day lol. this kind of weather is usually very rare for this part of texas, its like a once or twice in a year type of thing. im just gonna let them melt naturally, i dont wanna like rip off the spikes and find out i got some paint with them

lol yeah, but not 6mt
and onstar...im not subscribed to it, so i've never really pressed the button lol...does it auto-subscribe you if you press the button?

i just went outside to try to get in my car...couldnt even open the door, so i took a gallon of hot water n poured it on the door and hande...finally got in, ice fill in too
so i hadda throw it out piece by piece...but i was too lazy to try to get the ice off all the windows w/my bare hands (didn't think i'd need one of those ice blade things...so i left it back at home). so lesson of the day: it's not a good idea to go outside in shorts and a tshirt in freezing weather to peel off chunks of ice with ur bare hands.
thank u come again

Pffffffftttt..... You have no idea.

My Jeep has had snow-flaps (caked on, snow-made, mud flaps) for like the last week. It's supposed to come down again this weekend. I'm getting sick of having a filthy Jeep.

Rain and freezing weather don't mix too well. We had the same thing happen in '05, and again last night. Though this year, it's about 10x worse, since it's going to be around for another day or two. These are from two years ago, but i'm not gunna go out and take more pics of the same thing in freezing rain/sleet/snow. Scraping that stuff off is bad enough.

very nice ride!!!
i know the weather has been icey, but i have a favor to ask for all you Texas Acura owners. could you please check to see if the Acuras sold there in Texas are legal to be sold here in California.

To find out whether a car or truck is California Certified, check the emission label under the hood. The label should read that the vehicle conforms to California regulations, or that it is legal for sale in California.
here's the sample from the CA DMV website:

thanks i really appreciate it. and not to THREAD-JACK any further, please PM me.

i would post elsewhere if there were a regional forum, but there isnt and there's a majority of Texas CL owners here and thats what i'm looking to purchase.
