small front end make over

So I decided to man up and clear my headlights. I had already fooled around with the oven method when I did my prelude head and taillights, but I wanted to be a bit more professional this time so I found a heatgun off craigslist, only 15 bucks too. So I cleared my headlights, and then I painted the lower portion of my grill black, and took the roadlamps out and put in my 03 inserts, after painting them. Here's how it turned out...

full car (very dirty)

Thanks for the support guys!

Also, thinking about re-painting my rims. Suggestions? I want something original.

(I was going to go white with blue anodized lip. Sounds off the wall, but I saw it on another car and loved it.)

A dark gunmetal but not quite black would look sick! I would keep the lip silver if you did that. Just throwing out my

Also, will you be changing your tires when you drop the car? Those tires seem pretty beefy to be wanting to lower it.

I like the lower vents, but I think the Anthracite paint would look better, still seperated by the black frame of the lower air dam. The silver grabs your attention too much.

As for the wheels, paint them the same color as the car, and leave the lip shiny, or black would look good. Gold belongs on a blue car or a white car, not anthracite. 17" is just too small for this car, especially with the lip, that shrinks them even more. At least 18" wheels, not as nice as 19", but still, good enough. Of course, I'm with the census on dropping the car, I can't believe you're gonna wait till n ext year, thats a long time to wait. just do it now and enjoy it while you still have your car. Finally, a little tire dressing would help a ton, nothing worse then ashy tires, lol.

I've seen wheels kinda like that and i thought they were pretty sweet.

For your car I would go with light gray or maybe color matched to the inserts with the anodized lip if you want something different like that .
