Shift Knob??

I have a 01 CL-S and i'm having a problem getting the shift knob off...does it just twist off like most others? i been trying to twist it but it seems not to want to budge.

I have seen some other posts on here, and their reply usually is twist harder.

Yeah, I had to give mine the old college try. I was scared that it was going to break the shaft, but it was all good.
