RJSD Raven Black Inspyres + many mods (Lowered pics on pg. 3)
I installed a few more parts like:
1.) the BBK front only with lines.
2.) the RJSD Kit, pits perfect, next I'm going to seal the seams with a small bead of silicone.
3.) the 19" x 7.5" 50mm offset Raven Black Inspyres.
4.) 235/35/19 Toyo proxes 4. Was going to go with 225, but felt that these tires would feel a little better in terms of comfort.
5.) Custom steering wheel, a blackwood steeringwheel, reupholstered in reg leather and painted satin silver metallic. compliments the rest of the interior.
upcoming:
1.) exhaust mufflers, axle back with custom tips.
2.) a drop, most liekly H&R Sports with bilsteins.
3.) lip spoiler
4.) maybe a real aluminum dash kit.
Please refrain from "drop it' pics, that is on its way.
here are a few with a drop Photoshopped in...

looks great!
i love the interior and the wheels definitely look sick with the rotoras peeking out from behind the spokes
now all you need is a drop and exhaust and you'll be good to go

looks like you took the silver mesh out of the inserts. ;] looking very sharp. i think you should go with coilovers though for the adjustability if you are going to test fit rims/etc. any chance you can PM me who did your wheel?
keep my fav color clean, its hard to do, but well worth it. nothing better than an NBP CL-S rolling on the highway.
btw - no one mentioned tint. maybe 30%?

blue bbk is lookin good. im glad you ditched the silver inserts. i'm on the fence about the steering wheel...it looks ok, but maybe it would grow on me if it was mine. i just really like the feel of the perforated leather. a little slammage and your golden.
ps your front wheels are crying for some more PSI. they look dangerously low.

I'm sticking with my original decision to use fixed springs and shocks for a less noisy ride. I had TEIN SS, but wasn't crazy about them.

The PSI is fine, thats the same effect you get with having the engine in the front as you do with any other wheel and tire. It just looks exagerated in one of the pics becasue of the camera angle.
As for the steering wheel, it feels awesome, i don't even touch the leather to keep it from becoming shiny.

thnaks, thats actually some ghetto chrome molding with 3M tape, lol, but it works, it mimics the upper bar with the "A" symbol. got the idea from the last CL i had.

Yeah, I noticed that as well, but we'll see how she ends up once the 19" front, 20" back Legends arrive in March, lol. That might make the difference, oh and the drop too, which won't be nearlyu as low.
As for the lip, I'm leaving that for last, I kinda like the slippery look I got going on now. maybe a subtle jaguar lip, a bit bigger than the m3 lip, but won't interfere with the emblem. I'll see.
tell me about it, I miss SSM sooooooo much.

says "hello to my TLX".
it is coming along great. apart from the obvious tint and drop, it is looking good with those raven-black Inspyres. i guess i hadn't seen them on a NBP yet or something. i wasn't really feeling them til i saw this.

I love the interior, ron.
I can't wait to see it dropped with tint and on those wheels.
So are you doing the same setup as NiteQwill suspension wise? Those are the same springs I had on mine and I loved the ride and the drop. I was just wondering what the kit really looks like with that particular drop in person. I'm assuming it must look good since you've seen NQ's car in person.

I had a shop do it for me, let me know if you're interested, I think I can get a few more made. Cost me about $500, but I can get it for you for $450 if you send me your core, or any core for that matter. the wheel gets reupholstered and the top / bottom get replaced with real hard wood and painted silver.

are those the same exact kits you have on the black and the silver one you ahd?
i dont know if its me but it seems like the kit flows better on the silver opposed to the black...
or maybe its the Devotions you had on the SSM that look better.

Love to watch a sweet 6er get cosmetics.
I did the chrome door trim on the lower grill before but removed it, you must have added better adhesive cause mine wouldn't stay on very well.
That all metal shift knob would not be practical here, it's big too!
I'm taking in the silver steering wheel mod, hmm, will be a lot of silver if you put the brushed dash in. I've got it in mine (you may remember pix of it) and sometimes it seems a little much.
I thought of just doing the center console below the radio, but it's all there for now. I'm just a tinkerer with some simple stuff, yours is a show car.
I love your ideas, it's looking great.

Yeah, i'm on the fence about the aluminum dash kit, i think it might be too much silver. I'd rather have the steering wheel the way it is too, feels alot better. The knob was ordered as a smaller one, but for some reason it cvame that size. It looks big, but it fits in my hand pretty well, and I use the bottom of my palm alot to shift, so doesn't make that much of a differnece. It does weigh a bit more than a standard one, which helps with the feeling. The chrome bar thing stick well in the front becasue i prepped the surface with alchhol first.
You have any close ups of your aluminum trim? I had a kit in jmy car from 2002, but when i sold that car and got this one, I couldn't seem to find the same kind of dash kit, Real aluminum and it feels riogid, not like the other real aluminum that is shinier and flexible. Where did you get yours from exactly?

On the chrome grill trim, I did prep it but it didn't stay on that long. The grill is fatter than door trim so it didn't stay on good in my case.
The dash kit I got is real brushed aluminum, no top coating of plastic. It is pretty rigid, nothing plastic about it. It's about 1/8" thick. The edges are not rounded or beveled which only is noticeable on the standalond pieces like on the arm rest. It's been a couple years but it was a website called wooddash, or wooddashkit. It was about $180 then, but I know they went up after I bought.
Most online dash co's will send free samples. That's what I did.
I have applied the wood kits too. The aluminum is a little trickier in that once you contact the surface at all you can not pull up and realign like you can with the plastic coated trims. The alum will bend and crease. My kit came with lots of pieces, even for the sunglass holder and rear ashtray. (No I didn't put it on the sunglass door.)
Just down the center console might look good, or also around the speedo gauge and then trim off the navi surround piece. THere are 4 pieces on the center console, the AC, the radio, the shifter, and the handbrake areas.
Enjoying watching your handiwork.
