Removing Driver Door Panel? Help
Removing Driver Door Panel? Help
I had my LoJack installed today (I should mention I bought it from the dealer, so it should be covered if I bring it to them, correct?) and the guy took apart the left side of my car but did a poor job of putting it back together.
I fixed several gaps except one... Now there's a noticeable gap between the window & mirror controls and the wood trim.
How do I fix this? Removal of door panel? I've pushed, pushed up, pushed in, pulled. The gap still is not close as the passenger side.
Any ideas?

if i remember correctly , you are going to need a phillips head screw driver, a small flat head( to pry open thing ) and a 10mm socket,
to take it off there is a cover in the door handel put the flat head and pry the cover out ( i think the left side of it ahs a notch already) and theres a philipps behing that, and then i think that theres only 1 or 2 10mm bolts on the bottem side of the arm wrest, run your fingers along the underside and there will be two holes, take them out and then i would reccomend taking the tweeter off the door too , this is some what of a pain cause its held on by clips that dont like to come out , try and go from the bottem up and it will slide off( it MAY come off easier if the door panel is off not sure) other that those screws there should only be clips that hold on the door they are on the outer edges like 1" in from the edge i would say on the bottem there is a little spot that you can get your fingers in to start to pry the clips out once you get one the rest are kind of easy cause you can jsut run you hand around the outside. then its as simple as pulling out the door handel part and theres going to be a clip ( i think pink) and use a flat head to push it to the side so you can lift the metal rod up and out of there , then disconnect the lock plug. lift the whole door panel up and it should come off easily before you take it away just unpluf the rest of the things that are pluged in, should only be the harness' by the window switches but look before you pull. and its off
disclaimer : im tired its 4am here and im pretty sure thats how you take it off without goin in the 15degree weather to look at the car, lol good luck
