Nice, the wheels look great. Not a big fan of yellow foglight film, but to each his own.

I know the white looks good, but im getting tired of it. Kinda wanna change the look up of the car.
|
Yeah but the blue on your color I think might be strange looking. Don't get me wrong I'm all for crazy colors but I just don't think it will mix well with the car color.
|
Any other color choices you think would look good?
|
What wheel are those? It's so sexy, I might have to find a set for my car next summer.

Rota Tourque
I think that lighter colors would def benefit the car. Maybe teal a goldish color? |
what kind of film is on the fog?
|
Anyone know how much that custom mold of TL body kit to the Cl would cost?
|
Nice pictures.

Keep in mind the further you push the wheels out the lower of a profile tire or more of a stretch tire you will need to run to avoid rubbing the outer side of the fenders.
Also with the 5mm spacer you might be kicking youself in your ass because it's not nothing you will even see as far as increasing your stance. 5mm is less than 1/4". I would do 10mm minimum in the front. What's your wheels offset now ? The tint job looks clean. How much it cost you ? |

I'm not the wheel master but,
10mm would sit your front wheels flush. Depending on how low your drop is I supose. Is weather it would fit good. If your tires are already tucked under your fenders then running more camber would be a must with no rub. If I was going for a stanced look with your wheel I would do a 205mm wide front tire. It would give you all the extra clearance you will need for the 10mm,even possibly 15mm with a little camber. 15 would get the stanced look in the front. You have the 5/10 on the way I would definitly try the 10 in the front. |
Well these tires have ALOT of tread left on them so I have to deal with them. I think ill try the 10mm up front might have to raise my car up a little up front. and 12mm for the rear. What you think about that? Thanks for the help by the way.
|
I had my CR-Kais flush - not hella flush since thats not my style - but flush.
They were 18x8.5 +43mm running 235/40s. They stuck out ~8.3mm further then what youre currently running, assuming your wheels are in fact +45mm. I wasn't slammed like you though, but the front didnt require any mods but the rear needed to have the fenders rolled and the tabs trimmed. |
Thanks for the help. I guess I will go with 10mm up front
|
Solid!!

I guess I will turn this into my build thread.
Last night while driving home from the movies I ran over a HUGE rock and cracked my oil pan. FML. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...4/d595e845.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...4/a95cf83b.jpg Picking her up from the shop tomorrow. Also, I plan on painting my wheels teal. Im getting tired of white all my previous cars have had white wheels. Heres a photoshop chop of how it will look. C/C Welcomed. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...4/04ed134c.jpg Also, did lime green to. Dont like it as much as teal. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...4/80f17de4.jpg |
That's a little overboard imo, looks like a clown car! Otherwise car looks great!

I'd say a dark graphite/gun metal or light satin bronze would look good with that color. The other 2 look like skittles. |
The teal looks better than the green.
The green is just too much. |
Still undecided. I would like to ditch them. I've had them up forsale for months now. When tax time rolls around I'll get new wheels for sure.
Got my car back today. Check out my old oil pan. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...4/2836eb4d.jpg |
Holy sh!t !
How's the front lip ? Any other damages ? Exhaust, oil pick up strainer ? |
Lip and bumper are both good, no damage. They were able to salvage the strainer. New OEM oil pan and gasket.
|
I don't know how that rock could fit under there. Mine don't have a lip kit and that thing would smashed my front bumper.
Well,I guess you got pretty lucky with only 100 pan. But,you need a luck charm or some shit man. How bad was the damage to the strainer ? If the rubber gasket is not fully seated or their is a crack you will have low oil presure. |
How long did the engine run after you hit the rock?
