Post blizzard wash out pics

Alright, after friday's blizzard, the car is salted out all over lookin like I'm riding a frostly ice cream truck, no that everybody else doesn't. So I got myself to go wash the car, wish had time to wax but staying the cold any longer I might lose my fingers from frostbites. So I took some pics of the clean car with new lower grill pieces installed (to clean up the hollow spaces around my fogs) and I tinted my orange sidemarkers, so no need to clear them out no more.

That grille looks sweet. Did you make the lower one too? What did you use to install it like that?

I bought the F-150 grill (largest in stock) from grilltech, same where i got my top grill. Then i measured the spaces on the bottom, designed them on the grill and got this body shop next door to cut the pieces out for $50 (damn) cuz i cut the top grill myself and it took me like 3 hours and got lots of painful blisters, that metal grill is thicker than the car's sheet metal. The grills comes with the rubber liners around the edge so I cut it to fit into the smaller pieces and finally used zip ties to install them on the lower vents. No you don't see those ugly inside bars next to the fogs like in this picture.

Nice pics!

Your fog light setup looks awesome. Can you take a close up pic of one of the housings to get a better idea of the install you used?

Also what kinda switch are using on the inside to control the lights.

I'll try to take more pics when i get the chance. I don't use the aftermarket switch, I got them hardwired to the lowbeams, so when they're on, the fogs are too. Makes life a little simpler.

By the way, if you're interested in getting the custom lower grill set (5 piece or 3 piece). I'm gonna order more grills from my hookup, I could also do the shaping and cutting if you want. All you have to do is just put them on your vents with tiny zip ties, which are almost invisible as show in the pictures.

Upper Center piece - $95
Lower center piece - $80
Side vents (w/o fogs 2 pieces) - $65
Side vents (w/fogs 4 pieces) - $75
(side vents cost more because more metal-cutting cost)

Let me know if interested, I'm gonna place the order soon, the process takes about 1-2 weeks. The grill is made of thick metal composite, prepainted black or silver. Comes in 'diamond' (as pictured) type or ''honeycombs' (round holes). Here's the pic again

How did you tint the side markers? Is it just a piece of tint over the outside? Will you have issues with it peeling off from washing the car? It looks excellent. Your car is super nice...great job.

wow, i didn't expect a lot of people would be interested in my custom grills
Since there's quite a demand for them, I'm gonna post a new thread in the black market forum about the custom grill order. I'm gonna list those of you who are interested with the grill parts you want on there. Let me know of any correction.

Here's the link

I tint the sidemarkers using a headlight guard piece about 2/8" thick and cut it to fit the sidemarker size and shape. then stick a piece of 30% tint film between the headlight and the guard. It's that simple
