that makes me wonder. my friend's brother has an 83 S10 with a 350 V8 and many mods and he barely runs it under 11...you have to do some serious modding to pull that off. i would believe instantly 11.91. sweet camaro nonetheless.

That's actually really good for an S-10 with probably limited traction. Wonder no more: My car has a 406 ci small block, 11.5 to 1 compression, AFR 220 aluminum heads, 930 cfm carb, Ultradyne Roller cam (.690 lift), 3500 stall, 4:10 rear gear. 3,300 lbs w/driver and runs 10.90 to 11.10 et at 3200 ft elevation. Not really too serious of mods, but just the right combination found over time.

yeah i think its 4WD...but think about a 350 V8 with mods in an S10...its obviously gonna fly considering the stock engine is an I4 and the 350 is a powerhorse.

The motor hasn't ever been dyno'd, however, there is a formula I once used that calculates HP by using quarter mile MPH (124) and wieght (3,300 lbs). I've also used a computer program using all of the motor specs. HP is estimated around 560 (at flywheel) or so.
