offset [n.,(ôf'sět')] It's what seperates the boys from the men.

decided to move on from my HRE wheels and start shopping for a new set for 2008.

i plan on running a 19x9 and 19x9.5 setup for my car, but wanted to know the most aggressive offset possible with the most amount of lip.

this is what i came up with:

LOOK AT THIS LIP! OFFSET FTMFW

(disclaimer: these wheels are NOT meant for my car, they were merely mounted for measurement purposes and for a quick laugh. fitment like mine is the direct opposite of RonJon, and NOT for the weak-stomachs on this forum unwilling to roll fenders/cut tabs and slam their coilovers all the way down)

they're discontinued and my buddy bought all the 19" faces left. if you want a set, let me know; otherwise you (or anyone else) is SOL.

nice one brian, I got a nice laugh out of your little "test fit" along with half of the comments by the people who can't read the whole thread.

Btw, i'm not sure why I haven't seen many pics of your CL, but it looks quite nice! I'm definitely loving the kit and the lip spoiler!

You should do what Essarak or Andy did and add on some flared fenders. There's a red tsx around your area that has done a good job at running some wide, manly offsets...not sure if you've seen it or not.

Larry's TSX? I've seen this one... I didn't know it was red now... unless they're two different cars...

only way i'd end up going widebody is if i decided to go show. we'll see.

that is soooo sick

well, in terms of your white cl on those equips...always loved those rims...classic design

you know, I think if you cambered the shit out of em (around -4 or so with half inch tuck) and pulled the shit out of your fenders, I think you'd have the ultimate definition of 'flush'

if you could pull those off, you'd be my acura idol

btw, this Z had the same initial 'fitment' as you (before tire selection)

well, needless to say, the stretch he's running is insane, but his (i'm guessing) around -8 camber and big tuck allowed him to pull it off

I'm still in awe everytime I see this ride ...toooooo sick

the only way i'd do widebody would be full metal flares, the whole 9-yards, etc etc... if i'm not satisfied after this fitment - i may go that route...

what's stock? j/p mang - i can't run stocks cuz of my endless bbk - so i have another set of 19" beater wheels for times like this, where I have to wait a bit for my next set of wheels to come in.

this isn't the first time i've had to wait; always better to be prepared in the long run.

i have joe's (the owner of backyard creations) cell phone number. just make sure you tell him i sent you and i guarantee he'll hook it up. PM me if you need it.

thanks. if you're in the so cal area - i can put you in touch with my bodyshop guy and he can fit the kit onto your car better than anyone else in so cal can.

glad we're on the same page. however, with these wheels and those fat ass tires, they'd be hitting my coilovers before i even pulled the fenders... don't worry brotha, my next set of wheels will not disappoint.

funny, that's exactly what i think everytime i see a new thread picture whored with your car on it.

this isn't the time and place to discuss VIP styling. if you want to debate the style as a whole - pay a visit to VSC.

i don't think it's the camber that allowed him to pull it off; rather, i believe it's the direct correlation (or combination) of his negative camber and his air runner kit.

rev-01 (from the TL forums) fit 19x9, 19x10 onto his TL with air runners... i'm actually in touch with him because he's parting out his car piece by piece and i'm swooping on some of the interior/engine jdm bling he had...
not to mention getting a bit of insight on hella flush fitment

wow, this makes me wonder what it would take to pull something like this off.

Would you run just a regular tire or one of those neg camber tires?

the cheapest tire you can find, cuz they dont last long....keep it up Brian, i cant wait to see the result. Its about time someone goes out and does a CL right, and not follow the bandwagon and put TL rims on or something

cheapest? no. stretchiest?

falken fk452s are pretty popular, considering you need to up the psi on the tires 5-7% higher than normal being that we're riding so close to the sidewall.

the goal:
