Very light, and they seem to be good quality. So far I only have good things to say about them. If they turn out not to be good I will post & let everyone know. I am not too focused on the brand name, what's important to me is that they are light & do not bend.

Most of Rota's current hot products are copies of existing wheels. The subzero is an obvious copy of RacingHart. The Circuit 8 is a copy off of Mugen. I believe the Slipstream is a copy off of Spoon.
I've seen people using Rota products at autocrosses with good results. But let me qualify that... I've seen them on Miatas and 240SX's in 15" or 16" with rock-hard-sidewalled race tires on smooth asphalt/or concrete, running 40psi+.
I would imagine that would be a different application than putting them on a 3500lb+ car with most of that mass biased over one end in 18" with short and soft sidewalls containing daily-driver air pressures. I'd be considerably less worried if you were trying to run them in the stock 17" diameter. But you should contact Rota directly and inquire about the load rating of those rims for the specs (diameter, offset, bolt circle, width) you need.

Thanks for your honesty & I appreciate you not flaming. I expected that some people might not like the color, but I like to be different. Almost everyone has polished or chrome rims. It's not everyday you will see a CL-S with this color rim.

Thanks for the compliments Dafmann. I've been getting mixed emotions from people that I see them, but the majority of people like them a lot. Thanks again.

The color is has more of a purplish hue compared to stock. They look really good in color, but are slightly less bright compared to stock. (nothing to complain about though) Here is a picture

I bought them on Ebay about 6 months ago. I don't remember the link, but you can probably search. I paid about $259 for the pair.

It is very easy to change, very similar to changing a regular halogen bulb. However you will need a special T20 Tamper Proof Security Bit to remove the weatherproof housing.

Not the look I'd go for with a CL, esp if I was in bling-bling infatuated florida, but at least they are functional...i'have a deal on some RH CP-035's in 17x7.5 for only $750! so maybe i'll be copping a set soon.
