those doors suck majorly .. why they so flimsy i work at rim shop and see them daily and have yet to see a good install and a sturday door. other that that the look of them are great.. NICE CAR MAN

 

nice, very clean. i would put on a non-retracting screen but my car would get busted into!

 

yeah its a daily driver, you dont have to put the door up every time, i usually just open it out, not up, and slip out of it, theres plenty of room to do so, or if im in a hurry, or its raining. but when i want to show it off then ill put it up, and it is not that heavy

 

hey not to try to argue, but no matter what kind of kit you get for your doors there going to be flimsy, but mine arent as flimsy as i thought they would be. id ride down the beach with my doors up at about 15-20mph, and with a little wind, and they dont wobble that bad, plus the girls love that shit, and the cops dont mind, in fact they ask questions about it.

I'm curious as to how that box sounds in your trunk. I've just started looking for something to put in my trunk before going for the custom built stuff. I wasn't sure if the bandpass box would be optimal or not? So how do you like yours? Are those 10's or 12's?

 

There 12" Alpine Type-E's, there nothing special but they hit pretty good, there what I want. The box is awesome, I put a regular box in it when I first got it and it sounded good, then I put this box in it and wow, what a difference, you can tell the difference.

 

is that box ported?

 

Thats a bandpass box. If you want decent sounding bass get a sealed or ported box.

is it just me or do you have some weird dents in the crease of your pass door? what happened man? something go wrong with the doors or someone try to break in? that sucks if someone did. or maybe im just crazy and seeing things

yeah there hideous, i dont know what happened, i know theyre not from the doors. the hinge swings out when the door goes up, but they dont rub the quarterpanel, so i guess someone did that. oh yeah, everytime i see it, i wanna puke and find the person that did it.

 

Looks real sharp. You should be proud. Just get that finder fixed, and you'll be good to go.

update... i have a pic of my crank pulley on, i wanted to show a pic of the intake manifold and throttle body spacer kit, but thats not worth it and you wouldnt be able to see it.

 

Car looks real good man! But riddle me this, where did you get your fog lights? They look OEM for like and 01 - 02. Acura didnt make any for the 03 CL (i have the same car but 6 speed) And i want fog lights. Hit me up.

No, it is a Type S that was the only way it could come 6 Speed...i think. But anyways, I was told that they didnt even make fog lights for an 03 CL. My last car was a 01 CL and it had fog lights stadard. They dont provide alot of illumination but i think they look good, instead of black wholes. How do you turn the fog lights on? Do they just come on when you turn on the head lights?

How long did the install take to put the doors on?

 

It took 3 hours to do the drivers door, then i figured it out and took 1 hour to do the other door. I tell you what, it beats paying someone $800 to do them for you.

 

Just updated the pics, I have pics of the Alphawerks headers I installed along with the downpipe, obviously. What a difference, and no problems either. Soon Ill have pics of the Apexi VTEC controller installed, Im installing it tomorrow.

no (with a disgusted look on my face), i put the parts on because i already had them, the dents are on my next to do list, believe me. i just havent found anyone worth it yet, im trying to find the best deal.
