hey Ron, what the hell is that antenna?
So I'm not the only one with a CEL after installing a high-flow cat?

ron - buy the random tech cat and return the car-sound one. i ran the car-sound one for awhile then sold it to matt (msw), and he reported a check engine light. i'm thinking the cat just died. but i've been driving on the random tech for awhile with no issues.

No, I have a high-flow cat that was made by a shop which in turn I bought of the black market. Installed and then the next day it threw a CEL.

$199.25...damn.
I don't think that's including the install kit though.

I think I have an exhasut leak, it sounds like a swoosh or a hissing when I feed it heavy throttle. Gonna go back to the shop and have them take a look. Then I can make a good sound clip of the exhasut, which sounds better and better every time i drive the car. BTW, just got my tints put it, 20% black, looks great. All thats left is the lip spoiler which is on its way here from Cali...

Cost me just $200 to have the mufflers put in with custom flanges and the resonator replaced and welded in. I watched them do the whole thing, but the day i went, it was fairly slow, so they let me hang out. We eyed the pipes centered and they even let me try it out with and without the resonator to see if it needed it. I think they would be good if the tech is good, I mean they do have decent experience, and what is the alternative, some shady independant shop? As long as they don't fuck anything else up and if they warranty their work, you should be fine, just amke sure you tell em what you want exactly.

Thats werd, you would think that Aluminum would be more expensive, I am almost positive that it is. I think it is a diffrent grade of steel because you cant inter-change welds of metel like that. Aluminum takes a tig welder if I am not mis-taken

Try this, I just did a photoshoot and recorded these short sound clips. I need someone to stand outside the care while I drive by.might take a few to actually clear on youtube, I just uploaded it.
