why has no one mentioned the fact that it's physically impossible for wheel hop to increase OR not decrease ones potential excelleration?
Hello, have you ever seen what a pro driver does to every car at a track!?
You roast ur tires so they STICK TO THE GROUND.
On FWD cars like ours it'll be less of a difference cause u got the weight on the HOP... but rwd is light night and day
Remember wheel hop isn't the same as wheel spin. with wheel spin you could still get the fastest time, with wheel HOP the tires are not touching the ground so then you must ask yourself...
HOW do you think your going faster when your tires touch the ground for less time than if you were NOT to wheel hop?
I'd say hmmmmm... that would be defying the laws of simple physics.
And even though I got an auto cl-s so this doesn't "technically" apply to me, my prior car was stick for 4.5 years fully n/a modded and all I did was rip it to shreds, so I know a thing or 2 about making up time.
Wheel hop is balls either way it's slower and it's bad for ur trans and axle bearings. you really should try to avoid it for ur cars sake 1st and for your 0-60 time. You can't lose
Ur only 18, so you got ample time for improvement dude, there's no rush.
And then you'll look back and laugh at yourself for thinking you knew everything.
Which no body does... cause if we did, we wouldn't B on Acurazine

Yeah, you can definitely see from my huge number of posts that all I do is stay on my computer and complain. Deerrrrrr logic not found. But I'm sure you're the coolest kid that knows everything, and everyone wishes they could be you. So what do I know? I'm 20 btw - so old. And I just find it entertaining to laugh at kids like you that think the world revolves around them.

for someone who just got their driver's license 2 years ago, and who just joined this forum last month, you should really watch what you say. the video itself was a nice run, but what do you want us to say? we all had a stock cl-s at one point and know what it can do. so dont get all defensive and start cursin up a storm once someone criticizes you. chill kid

I've had my lisence for 5 years btw. It was a nice run for sure, I never said it wasn't. ALLL i'm saying is eliminating wheel hop is the way beat 0-60 in under 6secs.
I just wrote an essay to explain it, since everyone was beating around the bush talking about gib.
hopefully no offence taken, but everyone seems to take offence to everything. my bad
