I knew you wouldn't approve of the plenums. I am curious if I can get everything to fit. I mean the ct strut bar, stiffy mount, plenums, plus supercharger. Never seen anyone with all those on the same setup before.

I finally figured out how to get my new iphone pics posted so here are 2 shots of the car when it was slammmed on the coils. I raised it back since then for the time being. Every single road where I live is under construction. It sucks.

I also decided to remove the third brake light since i have the spoiler with third brake light already and it is prone to rattle. I removed it and covered the hole with color matched fabric and used a hot glue gun to attach the fabric. I think it turned out well and isnt really noticeable from outside.

did you get the s/c? why did you get the plenums if you were getting the s/c? kind of a waste no? no point in bigger intake manifold/plenums if you're going forced induction.

also do you have headers in? i don't see it in your sig

no I havnt bought a s/c yet, offered a few ppl their asking price for accord kits but none seem eager to sell to me. I bought the plenums before i got really serious about getting the s/c. I was thinking of getting my tb, intake, etc ported, but after seeing the costs I thought a s/c would be better for what I am wanting. Yes I have headers, my sig just hasnt been updated since 2004. Also being hard to find a s/c makes me keep changing my mind back and forth about FI or N/A.

Nope. I already have plenum spacers that do the same thing for 1/3rd the price.

And the plenums are not needed on a forced induction car. Thats just more space that the supercharger has to fill, thus lower boost and efficiency.

dsnt matter if i cant find a s/c to buy, and by the time i buy one I will have to wait till next spring anyway to drive the car with it. BTW i was considering just getting the spacers after I talked to you, but I couldn't get the seller to reply to my pm's so decided Id get the plenums instead.

still cant get anyone to sell me a s/c. Ppl have sales up, i offer asking price or more than a month later they still havnt sold it to me. I dont know why ppl put up auctions if they aren't ready to sell.

I am giving the s/c idea till sunday, if one of the sellers dsnt accept my money by then the s/c idea is out the window. Honestly seeing how hard it is to find one and dealing with conversing back and forth with sellers for months I would never do this again. Also all these s/c are really old and used and who knows what condition you will receive it in. I would just save up and buy it new. I dont regret any of the mods i did, just maybe the order in which I did them.

If I dont buy the sc i will just add on the plenums and get my tb ported and use the rest of the money for recaro buckets, takata harnesses, works bell hub and quick release and either spoon or mugen wheel. I honestly think this is sounding more appealing to me now.

dont get discouraged. i would keep trying for the s/c. it seems thats what you really want so dont settle. i just dont understand why post one for sale, get your asking price and still dont sale. i dont get it. also a word of advice if you do buy one get it rebuilt before you install it. i bought mine from an az member and i took it to NVA he opened it there was no fucking oil in it and the bearings were shoot from being ran with non in it. but it wasnt that bad he just took it aprt rebuilt it for me(which only took like a day) and it was as good as new. mind you the member in question i bought it from told me that it had had its oil changed and was as good as new. i really cant wait to put mine back on. the cl was so much more fun to drive with it. the down side though was i killing gas like no ones buisness but its worth it. after having a s/c i honestly cant see myself buying a sports car and not putting one on it.

I was at the last acurazine meet and some other meets in the area. Not sure if there will be any more meets this year and my cl won't be driven that much this winter.

I decided a few weeks ago to ditch the s/c idea for now sorry to disappoint.

I decided to go with my other option. I might wait till after winter to install it all especially my recaro bucket seat. I am just gathering the parts atm. Bought the most expensive part the recaro seat. These seats are a snug fit, I can't see most ppl fitting in them but damn is it sexy.

I will need to sell my rsx seats and my cl and rsx airbags and steering wheels if anyone is interested.

I probably wont have too many updates for awhile. Will add on the plenums and other small stuff, but gonna wait till winter or spring to start the interior project.

After all the work is done I plan to have my CL down to 3200 lbs. Hopefully this weight reduction can make up for the s/c. If not we know what my next project is.

So I am trying to figure out what racing harness i should get and where to connect it. I have a bar that connects to the pillar right behind front seats, i can attach it to that(would i want the short version or long, i would think short) or i can connect them to where the rear seats bolted down.

I was planning on getting takata harness, but was looking on ebay and saw this.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Which would you get? Cant tell if the recaro one is short or long version. Btw i have recaro seats silver/black with red stitching.

For me no matter what kind of seats/seatbelts you are getting my priority is to my car being comfy. This will never be a race car and i dont think it fits CL maybe thats just me but as long as the seats looks like i got my picture in mind (taken from race car with 4 point seatbelts) its no go for me in a CL. What kind of seat you want to get ? Any pics? For those recaro belts look nice.

Yea i know racing seats/harnesses isnt for most people and dsn't fit the cl, but i like being different and always wanted racing seats/harnesses. I am planning on gutting the car and tracking it alot next summer if everything goes well.

Not sure if i will need a full roll cage yet.

As for the seats i already have them purchased, just been sitting in my bedroom for months now. Maybe Ill post a pic of seat later or wait till i install em

You need either a cage or a harness bar to run full harnesses. Dont run without one unless you dont like your spine.

I bought them last december from tirerack. They were on clearance for 46% off so I got them cheap at 290 a wheel, under 1200 for all 4. Tirerack dsn't sell SSR anymore tho and the cheapest i have seen these wheels since I purchased was over 500 a wheel.

Tirerack has a set of BBS RGR 18 inch on clearance 40% off for 477 a wheel. Normally sell for 800. Tempting. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resul...ar=&sort=Brand

You can run either. The short harnesses wrap around the harness bar or the long harnesses will go over the harness bar and bolt to the rear.

While watching football yesterday i decided to polish my ported tb I have sitting around waiting to install. Here is the pic.

Dont she look purty. I used a dremel mostly, was hard getting into all the crevices. Took me 2-3 hours but it turned out great.
