Well I took the time on my day off yesterday to try the TL rear lip install. I ordered this from Acura in my body color. I know a lot of the treads I have seen people have been cutting them to install. Since it was the same color as my car I wanted to try and see if it was possible to fit without any cutting in the rear beside the exhaust cutout. I did end up cutting the end off which you can see in the photos below. Im really happy with the way everything turned out. There are a couple places I need to suck in the gap but it is very small and hard to tell. It took me a very long time to try different ways to suck in the corner bumper for the lip to sit flush with no gaps. I ended up cutting some lexan and built a cheap bracket for the lip and bumper to suck tight together. I can say it looks getto but you cant see it from eye level, it was the best solution for the gap in the corner. The side skirts are next and should be here next week.
First thing I did was tape the lip in place, make sure everything is lined up because you will need to drill next.
I just drilled holes into the bumper using the lip as a template.
Here is where I had to suck the gap out of the corner. I basically drilled a piece of lexan onto the lip and bumper making sure using your hand to force the bumper in the right position. Might look getto but it worked great.
This is the bottom side of the lip. I wanted to use the lip bracket so I cut another piece of lexan to extend and reach the lip bracket and attach.
The final thing I did was cut the end off. I still plan on making some kind of end piece or use the piece I cut off.
And to the end results.

Good work it came out great! Have you decided what your going to do about the exhaust now? The more picture I see of your car with those wheels the more I think how good it all flows together. Looking clean buddy!

Nice that should sound and look nice. It's alright I'm a patient guy. Do you think there is anyway for me to have a set before May 12th? That's when a big local car show is being held and it would be nice to have them before that. If not it's no big deal. I'm still waiting for my front bumper with a molded lip and grill to be painted at the body shop so at least everything will look fresh in the front of my car for the show.

I really dont have any updates yet. Its been way too hot to work on the car or even pay attention to it for that matter. I have the rest of the kit I need to get on the car and will do so as soon as it starts to cool down a bit. I went to Cali last week and took a couple of pics on the way. Thought I would share!

Thanks man, these were originally 5x112. Been thinking about getting two more rears in a 19x9.5 to see how it it looks. But still in a 19x9.5 there's not much more concave which is what im looking for so I dont think its really worth it.
