I think I saw another pic of LED's in your profile.

Which LED's did you use for under the dash?

Any pics from where you mounted them?

Those map lights are crazy bright.
I like the map lights though. Not too sure about those green ones.

What is the correct term to describe the lights that light up when the doors are open?

Yes.

Don't those and the dome light light up when the doors are opened?

Can't remember now.

Yeah they do actually.
But I have it on the tip of my tongue, but I can't seem to remember what they're called.
I have LEDs on the ones by the doors as well. They're just 194 bulbs.

Oh...okay.

Don't quote me but...

Seems like 194 or 168 fit in the same spots?

I thought I remember that according to the Sylvania site.

I want to replace those ones in the door and the dome contingent on how these map lights turn out.

yea, 194/168 are the same bulbs. The bulbs in the doors are called "courtesy lights"
the 168/194 bulbs fit:

License plate
Map lights
Courtesy lights
Glove box
Trunk
Roadlamps
Sidemarkers in the headlights

(got 'em all) haha

they are neon tubes but i would recommend an led strip or something cuz neos are too bulky for the footwell.... my friends kick the tube and knock it out of place all the time.... if you do i suggest you screw em on instead of double sided tape like me..... one friend of mine kicked it and the tube snapped at the end..... i replace em eventually....

I see. Thanks for the info.

Not sure if I am going to do that but I thought that might be cool if they were linked up to the courtesy lights.

I have the conversion done also. However, my lisence plate LED burned out very quickly so i put back the stock bulb. I did the trunk, courtesy lights, and glove compartment also
