Question about sea foaming: Do I pour half the can in the breather hose and the other half in the gas tank? Will it negatively effect performance while it's in the gas tank?
I'm not going to attempt seafoaming the car until I know the correct procedure....

Almost correct. Its more like half in breather hose, half in oil and either half a bottle per a half tank or a full bottle to a half tank. I have a very good HD youtube Vid i saved ill post with this. He has a Accord V6 so same family of engines.
Here's the video...

um yes it adds back hp you've lost from all the carbon deposits stuck everywhere and clean fuel injectors mean more combustion= more power than you had before sean foam.

I got a chance to run my friend Jayvin today.
His car: 03' 350z 6-Speed Track Edition
His Mods: Intake
My car: 03' CL-S 6-Speed
My mods: Intake, headers, exhaust, underdrive pulley
The cars:
Now for the good stuff
Run 1: (20-90mph)
We start off in first gear, 3 honks and were off. Were both even in 1st gear, then we hit for 2nd. I spin the tires and pull, he misses 2nd completely (350z's have bad syncros)
Run 2: (20-90mph)
This run was a rematch from the first run because as stated above, he missed 2nd. So anyway, we start off in first gear, 3 honks and were off. He pulls by maybe half a foot in 1st gear until we both shift into second. I spin the tires and away I go. I pulled ahead by a little over half a car until we both shifted into 3rd. Then I started pulling one full car length ahead of him until I shut off at 90. In this race, I won by one and a half car lengths.
Run 3: (60-105mph)
At this time were both on the freeway in 3rd gear. We honk 3 times and were off. I immediately start pulling on him, leaving him in the dust by at least two car lengths.
Run 4: (60-105mph)
This run was just a goofy one. We didn't even honk, nor did I even know he was going to gun it. He goes, and I go a second later (remember, a second is a long time when it comes down to straight line racing). Basically, I start gaining on him, but he decides to let off for a second to let me catch up even though I was gaining on him like crazy anyway. Basically, I humiliated him on that run.
I'm very satisfied with my car now. These full bolt-ons really do make a huge difference. I remember back in the day when I used to tie with manual 350z's and now I am making them my bitch

I'm in the process of doing an extensive detail to the CL-S. I'm waxing the paint, headlights, taillights, door jams, underside of trunk, rims (yes the wheels), as well as putting chrome polish on all chrome pieces including the mufflers. I'm also planning on taking soap and water to the tires followed by tire gel (the key to having shiny tires is always surface prep).
I've been working on it little by little this past week with no detail spared. When it's done, it's going to be as clean as a car you would see at SEMA. Stay tuned

A whole lot less of the crap talking since you been gone.
I thought you got permanently band.
Even though you have rubbed me the wrong way in the past with that Cardomain hating sh!t ,
it's good to see one of the Azine personality's back.

I'm thinking about saving up for a 98' Supra Twin Turbo, I would be able to afford one in 2 to 3 years. I like it as far as performance goes, but I'm concerned on how it looks from the back end. What do you guys think about the car?

supras are over rated and good luck finding one for under 30k
#473
that is why i got a mr2 over a supra just as fast but mid engined and only 10k for a clean one
#474
Very true. They are over rated. They are also underpowered in my opinion. Twin turbo 3 liter engine which only puts out 320 crank, but I love how they sound and look for the most part. They also retain their value in full. They cost 40k new and go for that much now days with low miles. Also, they pull a .97g with stock ride height, and are easy to mod. I will be able to afford one in 2-3 years, it's just a matter of whether I should keep the CL, or move up to the supra.
#476
^ True. I could buy a Porsche, and that car is a bitch magnet. I still love the supra though, the timeless design, plus it's a headturner. I can say that I'll either have a supra or keep my CL. I'm pretty sure it will be one of the two.
#477
Why get a almost 15 year old car when you can get a newer one for the same price? If i had 40k to spend on a car right now i would get a viper or a Z06 those things are beasts and it doesn't take much to turn them into 10 second cars
#478
^ True, those are nicer cars. I love the look of a supra though. It also might be cheaper insurance wise but I haven't officially looked into that yet. Forgot to mention, always have wanted to own a turbo'd car
#479
Forgot to mention, I raced my friend's RB20det (Skyline motor) swapped 240sx the other day. We were even in 1st, then I pulled on him halfway through 2nd, and pulled hard on him in 3rd

well, if you beat up on a 350z, then im sure you did kill that 240...
as far as the 30-40k on a car, i think you would make a big mistake on spending that on a supra, but to each his own..
You'll see in 2-3 years whats really the best for you
