It's been 6 weeks since a wash!
I took a little ride this weekend to see my new toy. It's been 6 weeks in storage and I needed to see it. Not much to look at, at this point anyway. No Zaino on it yet, but it still looks good. It's full of dust but you can't see it in these pictures.
I noticed the battery was 75% drained. Time to juice it up.
Nice sunny day. Expecting snow tomorrow and this baby doesn't get to play in it.
Look at the height between the tire and the wheel well!! It' almost as much as my Isuzu Trooper (i couldn't resist)!
I'm sharing the second bay of my parents garage (rent is cheap, haha). See the ball hanging from the ceiling. I put it there for them to aim at so there's plenty of distance between their big fat door and my side panels!

Nice pics, I have the EXACT same one. What kind of exterior mods are you planning? I thinking about rims for the summer, but I'm not sure what kind yet.

Krisqo, this is my first silver car and I cant tell you how clean it looks after 6 week in this garage. I had a black MR2 and after 6 weeks in this garage you could see the layer of dust from a distance away. With silver, no can see!... until you're right on top of it.
You want to see a nice Silver CLS, check out the thread below (in my reply to Danny25.)

Danny25, you're the one with the hot pic's of the Silver CLS. http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=87404 After I saw your pic's I felt so much better about Silver and how nice it looks lowered with tinted windows. I'm looking for a serious tinting shop so it comes out top notch!

Thanks stejus. I added tint witnin the first week of getting my car. It's a necessity here in TX. Then I did the CAI, and then springs. You'll be happy after you see your car for the first time on CT springs, it looks soooo much sportier.

stejus, I hear you about the way the silver stays clean. I had a black 2000 Maxima before this and I hated the way it got dirty so fast. I have 35% tint and it looks nice and classy. I was also thinking about springs but I want rims first for the summer, I'm thinking 18's...

There are quite a number of MA on the board, we should have a meet once the white stuff's all gone.

If you look at a map, Douglas intersects both RI and CT. If you know of any local Tint shops or anyone that is my area that could recommend one, I'd appreciate it! Where are you located?

What's CAI?
After you're Springs were installed, did the ride get noticably harder or is it about the same? Do you still have stock shocks because I read they would only last 30K. Do you know why?

^^ A CAI is a Cold Air Intake.
When I got my springs installed i was expecting a harsher ride, but i honestly couldn't tell a difference. My friends still compliment me on how smooth my car rides.
I kept the stock shock because I only had about 10K miles on them, so I figured they'd be good for a year or 2 more. I think they wear out faster because the ct springs are shorter, so the shocks are more compressed than they were with stock springs.

supposedly, the CAI gives up to 10hp. I couldn't really feel much of a difference, but the sound is worth it. It gives quite a nice roar especially when you get into vtec. It also is supposed to give you better mileage.

got it from www.nleonline.com . They also have free overnight shipping. But it seems like they only have silver in stock, cause when I ordered my red one, it took them a week or 2 to get one in. And a friend of mine ordered a blue one from there just recently and is also waiting for them to get one in.
They had the best price at the time when i bought mine, it was $205. Now they're selling at $220.

Comptech shocks don't make the rid harsher because the spring rates are almost the same as stock (I think the front CTs are a little firmer but not much and the rears are the same). They are just shorter (hence the drop).
ST2000 and Stejus, we should have a meet sometime in the spring. Some of us (TL guys) have even thrown out the idea of having a Six flags meet sometime in the late spring/early summer. Another idea has been to head up to Epping NH to the dragstrip for Import Wars or just to run our cars. My personal favorite has been the idea of having a Foxy Lady meet!!!
