I need honest opinions here...

Junk 'em and buy my wheels already. I'll even dip them in black chrome for ya.

I bought them because I liked them on the ABP car they were on and because I felt from the description, it was a good price. Since I'm a "cheap bastard" , it seemed like the way to go. Especially since I didn't know if I wanted to go 19's or not yet. However, when I received them, they weren't quite up to par with the description. The tires are pretty much trashed all around (all 4) when I was under the assuption that at least 2 of them were in good shape and the other two needed to be replaced relatively soon. Also, a couple of the wheels have little chips on the lip in the clear coat. From a short distance, the wheels look fine and you wouldn't notice any imperfections unless you were truly looking for them. The tires is where I got shafted the most. But that said, you are correct in saying "you get what you pay for" by this experience. All in all though, the seller came thru and made everything right with me as far as I'm concerned at this point.
I was getting used to the looks of it...
To me, I can't justify spending $2,000 +/- just for looks on a car w/ 60K miles on it. Especially when i'm just going to get rid of it before it hits 100K anyway. My car is far from perfect in appearance due to the scratches and door dings (previous owner) so I just can't justify it.

I usually dislike the Black with Blk wheels look but that combo lools great. I'd get a 40 series 19'' tire and deal with any ride compromise. But, it's your money and your comfort.
Either way, nice car.

i learned the "you get what you pay for" long ago with my se-r. i would rather pay twice as much the first time, than pay half as much 3 times. you jokers will learn that too in time i suppose.

Besides, that is not always the case. You do get a deal from time to time. I'm just willing to take the risk and chance it.

Thanks, that's helpful. I thought about going with a 235 but I was afraid I would rub. But at a 45 offset, I think I would be ok. This is all of course if I keep these wheels...
At this point, if someone wants them, they're there to be had but if not, I'll keep them. I can go either way.

I just realized this but this pic shows how the wheels look LESS like the gun metal that everyone was talking about before. I should have posted this one when I posted the rest....

Check this site out, I got my setup from them and they appeal to my cheaper side.

It's actually my background on my laptop as of last night. I never realized how well that picture turned out till last night. I had taken all of those the same day. Too bad it wasn't a perfectly sunny day, the pics would have been way better. Maybe I'll turn it into an avatar...
