thanx! the ride is a little more bumpy, and can't handle as well, but it's worth it.

nice werk. how much $ do you have invested in your suspention?

since you have adjustable suspention and crazy shit you may as well skip 19's and go straight to 20's. that would be tyte.

Your car looks great!

By any chance did you get your sound system done at Car Audio Craftsman? I think I've seen your car before...

hahaha tiggght!!!!! clean trunk install also!

You know...I have a question for types & 4pumped! I'm seriously considering air suspension for my TL mainly cause it's never gonna go autox or anything. just for show. My main concerns are...

How loud is the tank when it recharges? and when does it recharge? how long?

What is there to maintain the air system? chances of it leaking? I heard that it drops a little bit over night, is that true?

also...is it BOUNCY? compared to normal suspension...like coilovers.

and how much am i looking at for this? I want a really good system.

and some recommendation on what company to use? what's a good shop to do this in So cal? too much questions huh?

My experience with air cylinders is somewhat limited, but I'll fill you in on what I know. To the best of my knowledge, SMC cylinders are some of the best out there. They tend to ride better than others as well due to their larger volume. However, since they are larger, they don't sit as low (no offence ). I would do 2 3 gallon tanks and some monster compressors. Reason for that is because the compressors are pretty noisy and rather annoying. The larger the compressors, the less time you'll have to hear them run. In the tank you have a pressure switch. When that pressure switch reads below a certain pressure, the compressors kick on. As far as falling over night...assuming you don't have any air leaks, that will only happen if the temperature drops drastically ( air does condense when it's colder). If you use quality fittings and good valves, air cylinders can be quite reliable. They also ride pretty well...not as good as stock. With hydraulics you can get a better ride, but most prefer air because it cost less and is easier to work on. Good luck.

I agree with 4pumpedCL. Air cylinders are eaisier to maintain, and costs less. The ride is a little more bumpy, and your car won't be able to handle as well. So if you are not too into racing your car then this is the way to go. For my air cylinders I paid $2500, that comes with everything I got. If you don't want gauges or to chrome your tanks, then you are looking at about $2300.

2500-- A shop in houston has Ads say air for 1600 I wonder what all that consists of I know it sounds too good to be true. It must be a low quality kit with not alot of functions..

Mr TypeS has all SMC cylinders and valves. Not to mention all 1/2". It's some of the best air products on the market, that's why it was so expensive. AIM (Chassis Tech) sells less expensive kits, but you get what you pay for.

Very well said 4pumpedCL. If you pay 1600 for air suspension, you are probably gonna get some nasty ass setup. If you're gonna go with air suspension don't go for the cheap stuff. It won't be worth it in the long run.

4 pumped and types ur cars both look amazing. I am thinking about air suspension too for my TL, I was wondering if u could tell me where I could find some good information about air suspension, like what brand names are good, some good installers in my area etc. Once again ur cars look tight as hell, major props to both u guys on ur originallity.
