Damn, thats a problem with the CT design. The metal sleeves the screws go into loose their grip in the plastic and just spin. Bad design on CTs part.

Sadly, I dont know of any tricks to get the bolts out without drilling it. GL though.

same thought as civic said. drilling out.
I saw a lot of people who have ct ice box on their car have that problem. That's why I didn't install ice box when i installed my sc. Hell, 2 of them were already fucked up. so I just modified my AEM cai to fit. and i love it!!!

ya i'll have to drill them out and just put in some regular screws.

I have a outlaw thermo spacer kit (intake manifold and throttle body) and i want to put them on to keep temps down. I know where i have to put the manifold one, but the TB one i could put either where the TB is located near the battery OR right on the neck of the intake manifold right? (i'm s/c'ed). Which spot would be better? Do you still need oem gaskets or do these act as a gasket also?

Just dont get p2r thermo gaskets after 5k miles its all warped and looks like shit and actually its restricting air flow so trashed it. Maybe outlaw is better.

Id put it on the blower neck to manifold connection. No need for OEM gaskets when using these, unless you want to.

I tried searching for people having issues with p2r spacers, and found nothing but what you've said negatively. I would think if there really were issues more people would be complaining.

I actually just received the package like 15 min ago. I'm not sure when i'll put it on. I think i'd like to do the HBP, upgrade injectors (they're noisy anyways) and tune with emanage all at once. So i might wait and do it next spring.

I also want to address my exhaust - stock cat and bpipe . I'd like to get a high flow cat and 3" b-pipe.

I threw mine out because they did the same thing. Didnt complain because I really didnt care. I dont know if they even made a real difference.

i was thinking of doing a 2.5 in/out cat then transition into 3" until the Y split. I'm really torn on what cat to use though.

I found some 94 octane gas early last week and the car has been running quite rich since then. Maybe i should go back to Shell 91?? Should the car adjust to the higher octane eventually?

I think it should be better to go 3" after cat but what if you decide 3" custom collector sometime in the future ? But u right i will do this was 2.5" cat and then 3" easier for me and it should be fine. I dont know why he was "stupid" that might be something from past before i got on AZ.

Most of his stupidity was on v 6 p but he was banned here too. He liked to talk shit about everyones engine build, tried to keep his mods a secret (Paul divulged all the build info because nupe was being a dick), then when he blew his engine tried blaming Paul (even though he didnt break it in and beat the hell out of it). The guy was a tool.

depends on how many galons u have left you can mix gas with some regular and see what is gonna happen but i dont think that would be a problem that should answer your question or maybe you changed FPR setting ? by mistake

i only have a crappy sweeper a/f. I think first i need a better wideband that shows the actual value. Before it would read one or two bars into the Rich area max. Now it'll get nearly halfway into the Rich area. Only things i've done differently are:
-went from 91 to 94 gas
-use some fuel injector cleaner
-cleaned my air filter

IMO aem is the most accurate on the market same for goes for boost . I don't see why some of us are running cats anyway ? The only thing I can think of is your cat going bad.I'll run a strait pipe & O2 Spacer . If your still running rich checkout your plugs. And any thing after 93 octane is a waist of $ I once used race gas in Md.$8 per gallon I think it was 104 OCtain there was no difference . + High OCtain won't do anything UNLESS TUNED for it

i'm looking into a new wideband now. And for no cat....well it's illegal here. We get tested every other year, so it would be just a pain. I want to get a high flow cat. I only used 94 because i couldn't find a shell near me. Plugs are about a year old.

The difference between 94 octane and 93 octane is negligible. I run 93 octane here without a problem. Im suspecting the fuel injector cleaner though.

ya i thought that maybe it cleaned some gunk off them and they could be spraying more fuel now as a result. I just thought the ECU would pick up on things like that and adjust.

Got the exhaust tips lowered, gave her a wax, and getting ready to put her away for the winter. Going to fix the front lip (paint bubbled a bit), and get the sideskirts and rear bumper repainted too.

lol, i'll have to go somewhere more scenic and take a few more shots. She's getting an oil change soon, then she's going to sleep for a few months.

I have so many projects planned. Painting the lips, need to wire in new ballasts & bulbs, i'm going to dinoc the interior and get rid of the silver bits, then in the spring i'm going to take a stab at removing the blower and doing a valve adjustment. Oh and hopefully a 3" exhaust and wire in a AEM wideband.
