got the hybrid bushings in. Shifting is definitely easier and feels crisper. The big bushing was a huge pain to get out.

Made a crappy video with my phone. I wedged it between the passenger seat and headrest, lol. Too bad you can't see the speedometer.

Well I Think I've Decided That I Will Sell The CL In The Spring. I'm Going To Try And Keep Everything On The Car, But We'll See. I Love The Car, But No Need For 3 Cars Right Now. I'm Going To Drive My Beater Until It Dies. I'd Love To Get Into An Is-F Eventually. We Have Another Wee One cooking And An Addition Planned So Makes Sense.

I'm going to put the car on the market as is in the spring. I'd really rather not take the whole car back to stock. Sell yours and buy mine. That's how i got this car, lol.

I sent you a text this morning, hopefully you haven't changed your number. If you sell in the spring I'm really a serious potential buyer. I want everything on no part out anything(sorry Azee).

Congrats on the new addition! Man time flies! We should have a CL baby seat cruise lol.

Talk about trip down memory lane - I still loved my CL, but ever since switching to the M3 i never looked back.

Gnuts you're finally selling your ride eh? I still remember selling you the tein coil-overs. Looks amazing to see what it looks after all these years.

Wes - where you been man?

well i decided not to sell.....couldn't do it and the wife helped convince me not to. Nothing much is new other than a few lip scuffs. I have a bigger throttle body to put on, but no hurry for that. I just got it on insurance last week! Feels so good to drive her again.

CLEAN .
Front lip is a tl of ww ? Looks different I don't know why . Maybe cause not molded ?

I know I'm only 19 and my mind changes every day but I seriously cannot ever see myself leaving my cls6 . If anything I'd swap to a accord or tl . I love the base of the car too much though .

The lip is moulded. I cut off those flares on the sides.

I love the car and I know I would have regretted it. I have two kids and that was a big factor. But resale sucks so much I might as well keep it.

I bet you will move on in the next few years. Everyone seems to besides me and a very select few. People have short attention spans nowadays.

I am glad you decided not to sell. The car looks really nice.

I plan on being the last original owner driving a 2nd gen.

I know this sounds crazy, but I think I enjoy driving my car more than a 2013 m3. I drove the m3, got out, and then drove my car. My first thought after getting in my car was how much I love it.

Maybe the fact that I didn't want to push the m3 because it isn't mine is part of it. I also find the bmw shifter/pedals to be kind of annoying in traffic. The cl just seems do smooth and easy to change gears. That is probably because of what I am use to though.

Thanks Brian. I do love my CL the way I have it. Low maintenance and a blast to drive. Next spring I'm going to get the lips repainted and maybe a 3" mid pipe.
I don't find it difficult even with two kids in the CL. I'll have the car for quite a while.

When you get them, let me know what the weight on the rotors are. Mine came in yesterday and those suckers are heavy as sh*t... +/- 22 to 24lbs a piece.

Ya I've heard they are huge. I don't want to add weight there but they look so damn good.

I posted pics in my thread yesterday; huge & heavy is an understatement...

I'll post a side by side comparison when I get them installed.

Also, I saw your post on the concern of the caliper clearing your 18.8 setup. I think you should be fine... Worst case, you can put in a .5" or 1" spacer to clear.

i did see a 3rd gen TL with the factory brembos that cleared 17x8 +35 rpf1 so i'm pretty confident they'll clear. I may still ask a local 3rd gen if i can test fit my rim over their bbk. Either way they're going on! I'm also going to try and snag a spare tire from a TL so it'll clear the bbk if i need it.

ha, the one drawback of the RL BBK setup...having to haul around a full size spare!

i just want to get a TL doughnut. Not a full size spare. I might even just keep a repair kit and go no spare.

I've always kept a tire repair / survival kit in the trunk. Kit includes a lighter socket power inverter, small 12v air compressor, and tons of tools & accessories to fix a flat. Picked it up from Home Depot if I remember correctly... Very handy!

Did you go with the rl calipers?

I want to be different so I will be going with something that costs twice as much but will be well worth it.

I drive around with no spare or repair kit. I have done three 9 hour trips to the national meet that way. I know I am crazy.

ya that's the plan. But it's not a done deal until it's done. It's not a secret but i'm trying to buy Morgan's bbk, but i think he's getting his life in order and car stuff it's on the back burner. Actually i'd like to get his complete exhaust more then anything! Don't know how much he'd ask for that though.

Brian, i think i'm going to start some minor weight reduction in the spring. I'm going to start with the trunk. I think i'll run no spare as i usually dont' go too far from home. I'd love to get some light front seats but i have no idea about getting a custom bracket made.

What exhaust system do you have now; Comptech's right? Why would you get rid of those?

I'm going to pick up an ultra quiet resonator to quiet mine down; got a bit louder after adding the test pipe & mid-muffler delete. Also looking into 3" round tips. Think it would be a great touch to the rear now that it's kitted.
