getting CL re-painted

I got a 2001 Acura CL. It's currently a San Marino Red. I got into an accident a little while ago so its already in the shop but i have decided to change the color. I am going with black but I want the richest, deepest, glossiest black. I dont want a dull black. Any suggestions?

At least do it a non-OEM looking color so it will be unique. Don't do black or any darker colors, the swirls will show like a bitch. I would say do a color like the OEM Belezan Blue that the Honda Accord uses (09), or even Carbon grey pearl from the TSX color line. Something different and low maintenance.

all jams are going to be painted as well. The shop is currently removing all the doors, the trunk, hood etc.

I am set on black but need to choose a specific type of black.

anybody know any custom black paint codes?

What about the BMW Carbon Black that has the blue-ish hue to it...

But I'm not sure if it has pearl in it or not...?

that's a pearl and i've seen this color fresh on an e46, looks damn nice, but its not one of those colors you will notice its not stock. very subtle.

JBP of course was my pick.

pewter gray is another nice color.

honestly i'd stay black, i love black.

^ Oh ok...

I was looking at some other colors that I brought up with my fellow Aziners over drinks.

Everybody flamed me at the idea of painting it anything other than OEM color.

And I just think...if you were to invest in a full paint job...why not mix it up a bit...

I know I would.
