Front end transformation

BEFORE ..

TODAY ..

Quick pic before my camera battery shat on me. Better pics in a lil bit when the sun pops out.
I plan on painting the headlights when I move to Las Vegas .. that way, I can order a spray-paint can off of paintscratch.com and have at it. They won't allow aerosol products to hitch a plane ride up here.

Cool i like how the tint looks. What exactly do you have planned for the headlights? I think cleared headlights would look real nice

I wonder where he got that idea?

Looks good...wtf? You still have snow up there in April? It's 70 something degrees in WA state.

I think the entire fascia needs to be matched.

Tint .. ? No tint over here, man. Not enough burning sun for that. The snow here takes a while to melt [ well duh ], should all be gone next month.

Couple more ..

As for the headlights, Farabeast did what I was planning. I know I'll seem like such a biter, but I just like the idea so much that I just have to.

What did you do for your grill? Take out the emblem and other stuff and put in painted black mesh? It looks awesome, just wondering!

It looks like one of the original RJ grills.

Looks really good! I like it! Is it fresh paint on the whole front end? It sure does look it. I think the PDG headlights would look bitchen, that or the '03 headlights would look really good, as well.

I like mhow the body colored vents are seperated by the black frame of the OEM paint scheme. leave it like that. Now, I would do what you sad, the body colored headlights. But in my opinion, I would go back to the OEM grille with the body colored grille suround, but with a chrome middle bar and "A" Symbol. At that point, the upper grille black part will match the lower grille black part. Last thing is the custom chrome strip like how I have here, it just ends up looking so damn classy, and ties the whole front end together:

now that I look at it, just paint the thion horizontal line underneath bodycolored, so that you won't have any chrome. ALso, matte colored black grille helps with hiding the mechanical parts from showing up behind the grille. its called High heat paint and looks like chalk board paint.

I'll have to look into the matte paint, I really hate how the grill shows everything underneath. =/

And yeah the whole front end is fresh-painted minus the hood .. I had a new front and back bumper painted and installed last November.

Yep, I cut around the screws that hold the grill to the car itself and chopped everything else off.

cool stuff.

every place i've gone to has claimed that they can't paint the chrome grill surround because of its material.
