Finally!! Roadlamps installed and wired....

It always bothered me that the 03 didn't have factory fogs, let alone not have factory road lamps. I had bought all of the parts months ago, and finally found time and got them in. I wired them to the factory switch that I bought. I hooked them up to my ignition, that way I can never accidentally leave them on. Anyways, here is a few pics,

They are the PIAA 19224's. I thought hey were going to be a more blue color, but a mixture of bright white and a little blue.

Yep I took that pic as soon as I turned the HID's on. Thanks for the comments. I really like them, and are brighter then I had expected.

The PIAA W2 (#19224) is a halogen bulb designed to look similar to an HID bulb, but is not an actual HID, thus it will not melt the road lamp housing.

Love the blacked housing!

My drivers low beam just went out with no warning (so I'm thinking its the bulb and not the inverter) and I'm looking at new bulbs right now, and when it did my road lamps went super dim so I might replace the bulbs for them as well.

I just checked ebay and see about $17 including shipping for these PIAA W2 (#19224) bulbs, is that about what you paid?

I ordered mine online through a company, I will try to find the name. I ordered the roadlamps, the bulbs, the factory TL foglight switch, and then bought wiring and other misc parts at the autopart store. Took me a while to finally get them in, but I did. I also hooked them up to my ignition, so that way I never forget to turn them off. I can choose when to have them on or off as well. Very well worth it.

i'd appreciate if you can get me some info about that company 'cause
i've spent countless hours trying to find them. the switch, wires, and bulbs
are the easiest part but the lamps themselves seem imposible to find.
thank you.

These guys have them, don't know if it's a good price or not, but seems pretty cheap ($31 each) vs. what I used to pay for replacement fogs for my old Saab ($155 each). Click here. Look under the body parts section for foglights. At that price, I may have to add them to my '03.
