agreed, its not "wrong" i guess. but i'm saying the lip when on the tl is straight with the bumper. i did a week of prep work before i put it on. and i agree on the materials, but it probably will all hold...

i do have the whole lip on, my car is being painted in a few days. won't do a photoshoot until i get my old rims back on since i'm trying to sell them or get new rims on. yes 6mt ftw

well, this thread kind of got off track it seems, but here's the end result. I'm pleased, it looks great in person, and it's rock solid and will still flex with the bumper (I did a good bit of stress testing before final mounting), regardless of materials used to affix it to the bumper. I appreciate the help that those of you gave me, and hopefully this thread will help you guys to do the same for your cars! Enjoy!

yea bro, you can come by anytime you want to check it out, I still need to clean it up just a bit, but it's 98% done.

I really do want a drop, but my drive way for the house I'm at now I can barely get out of as it is, but I might have to do it anyways regardless.

Probably won't be getting new wheels for some time, I got too good of a deal on those, and I actually dig on them. (However if anyone wants to give away some racing hart C2's I'd be more than happy to take them.)

Thanks guys!

Evan...mad props on that lip! That bitch is bad! It doesn't really matter how many people tried to make your thread about their car because yours turned out perfect. I like the line that it takes around the sides of the bumper, it looks aggressive. I am definetly going to give this one a shot over the summer on my anthricate. How much did the front lip cost you?
Even if you just drop that thing an inch or so it will look sweet. I used Tein H-techs and didnt have to do any camber kits.

no offense but h-techs are kind of a waste of time.

Word! This is my 6th lowered honda, and i'm proud to say the first one not lowered 2 inches...plus with 235 rubber, the rear wheels touch over bumps already.
But anyway......so lets not flame my springs here anymore, Evan can get whatever he wants with that BAD ASS LIP

ha, i appreciate the compliments bro. I completely agree with you, I really want to drop it but I don't want to do a huge drop just because I don't want to have to limp over speed bumps and dips, etc. I might have to look into the 1 inch drop, just because anymore and I couldn't even park at my house, ha.

I'll try to get you some good side profile pics of my car so you can decide if you like them or want a little lower...i kinda wish i did a 1.8 inch drop ( i was going to do neuspeed b/c the rears are really stiff, even stiffer than the front), but i did the H-techs which are 1.2 all around i think. The back looks good, almost perfect, the front still has a little gap, but its no longer 4X4. I'll get you some good pics after i kick this mono and get some more energy to drive somewhere nice.

Wow, you just kept me from second guessing my springs. I was thinking about going a tad lower, but not with those issues. I've had my share of slammed cars, and sounds like Evan's prelude or whatever his last car was probably got eaten by the streets and speed bumps and he's looking for a more conservative drop, too.

yea, i still have my prelude, dumped a lot of money into that thing...had it pretty well slammed with a full WW lip kit. it got ate pretty well, atleast the front lip. I was crawling over bumps and intersections. Since I still have the prelude I want to be comfortable driving a car around town without worry. Appreciate all the compliments and comments guys!

Yo Evan, I owe you some pics. I will have to take some better ones when its not leaning on my driveway with the E-brake on, but there are a couple shots of how it sits on the Tein H-techs (1.2 inch drop all around) in this thread...
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195779
I have 17s and my tire size equals the same exact height as the stock tire size, just wider, so if you have 18s it might fill out the gap even better...???

Oh yea I still sweat your LIP BTW...

I was worried about being conservative as well, but the car looks 100000000000 times better dropped, here take a took at my pics and let me know what you think, in addition I added the sways bars , the car hugs corners now, I'm loving it. Its a comptech drop btw.

That looks good, but it doesn't seem much lower than mine does, barely even a half-inch. I doubt you scrape much under the car...

Yes the springs have only been on for about 3 days, not sure if it will settle any lower, I'm still using the stock struts, eventually when I have enough money would like to upgrade the shocks , possibly some Illuminas, we shall see, damn Mod bug!!!
