Whats different between the rear lips? I thought the only difference between the 99-01s and 02-03s was the front.

the ww rear has cutouts in the lip for the exhaust. the oem rear the exhaust goes under the lip.

Ok. I knew the WW kit is different. Im going OEM 99-01 front and OE side and a WW rear. I like the cutouts.

yea i wanted the ww rear but i ended up finding a crazy good deal for the whole oem kit in the bm so i jumped on it.

It doesn't fit unless you cut & remold it to the CL bumpers/sideskirts

^ It takes some modification to get it to fit correctly the front bumper on the cl is wider than the tl and is also at more of an angle so the front lip has to be cut and the gaps between where it was cut have to be filled. there are other things that have to be done to install it but I'm not sure exactly what they are. I'm sure some of the more experienced members will explain it better.

About how much did the lip cost and was it easy to put on? Sorry for asking so many questions, but I'm thinking about doing the same thing

No prob I don't mind questions. It was $144 and I used 3m double sided automotive tape. Took me a few secs to put on.

How'd you paint it? I called the BMW dealer, and they said $170 something for the lip, and he said I had to take it to a body shop to paint it (he estimated about $125). And my car is SMR

I took the lip to an automotive paint shop and it was $125 to get painted.

try ebay. they are cheap on there and come painted.

Yea that works too. I'm just impatient and went to the dealer and got it. Plus I couldn't find any pre painted smr on eBay at the time.
