Well finally got around to it and it looks great. Should I take the Type-S off?

I have my trunk debadged also, and i have nothing but the A on it. I have seen some with just the type s left on, and i have some debadged. I personally like it debadged to the A, IMO i would take the Type S off.

I think it looks kind of funny with the type-S on there. I'd remove it. But that's just me. It's your car, so do what you like. It looks like it would need to be more symmetrical, like it needs something on the other side of the trunk.

Well i put something on it to even the height but they are still shifted. I plan on going sometime this week to get it fixed.(I'll keep in touch with you on that.)

I took the type-s off, but I still have to wax mine. I have a halo left from the badges.

Silver always shows less stuff than this soft as butter clear coat on dark blue.

 

Looks good. Leave the type S badge.

 

I claybared, waxed AND used scratch X and thought they dissapeared.

~ 1.5 months later, I see halos, but only inside in parking garages.

 

Leave the type-s and post pics of your rims. I am thinking about getting the FF7 and I want to see how they look.

looks good, i say keep the type S

..how did you take off the emblems?

 

Used floss to get behind the emblems and cut through the glue. Then took polish remover to get the rest of the glue off. And last took rubbing compound to rub out the fading.

 

Had mine debadge but left the type s, to get the fading out i just buffed it out w/ a power buffer. i love it w/ just the type-s and the acura symbol. pics posted in the picture category
