comptech drop w/ 18" on silver

I finnally got springs, but I'm not too thrilled with the ride quality. Its too jittery and although it handles better, I miss the smoother ride already. on the positive side, It looks 10X better and can take corners real well. I just wish the ride was a bit smoother... hers one pic, the others are below it:

thanks, I have 10k now and its only been 5 months. I'm gonna get the Comptech ice box and some tints next. Does anybody else have any gripes about the springs, Its only been one day, but I'm scared to drive on the GCP and the BQE tomorrow to drop off some work. I hope I don't bend a rim or something.

I got some preforated sheetmetal material and spray painted it flat black. pretty easy. I got 225/40/18 tires, but for some reason they look meaty in the pics, prolly cus I have barely any lip and the rim blends with the tire...

Hey rondog, I notice you have a silver shift knob in your pic. Is it photoshopped by you or is it the real thing. If so, does it come off like real manual shift knobs?

I just want to say, I love Photoshop, but these photo's are untouched, and straight from the camera. The knob was a universal fit with different sized Gamuts in the package. the first one I used was a good fit, but I over tightened and it cracked. Plus it sat too high and looked funny. So I used some Plumbing supplies and alot of inginuity in creating a new gamut and making the shift knob sink all the way to the shift plate. just do a bunch of searches on Google and check out Super Street Magazine's ads for the Knobs, they are everywhere in those books...

do a search, then go to exoticwooddash.com, call if you don't see what you want, they usually will get you what you want. And shop round, there is a big range in price. one more thing, The faux aluminum may be easyer to install and maintain, the real aluminum is tricky, any bend will show at night and is unfixable. good luck.

see i'm glad now that i know what the drop looks like with 18's cuz i'm gettin the springs on the 5th but thats my gf's prom so they're not gettin put on until the 7th. And you need to clear the headlights bro. One of these saturdays, i'll let you know when, probably after i get the drop, come down to the pike.

now way with the clearing of headlights, I'm not risking a bulb going out, or foggin up the housing. those lamps are damn expensive. PM me your tel and we'll hang out with a few other heads on thurs at central ave nathan's. make sure you get someone who really knows what they're doing to install the springs, they can be a headache.
