clsallmotor01 build thread

This is my 2001 acura cl type s . I bought the car off my friend earlyer this year because i needed a daily driver.
Im starting this thread to show how the car has come along and let me know what you think. I will continue building it but slowly because im also trying to finish my other project.

not really sure whats going on in pics, one has a CF hood then it looks replaced with factory. im not a big fan of the painted factory wheels or roof. i like black roofs on cars that have squared rear glass, ours are rounded so the black roof doesnt flow right. i would have taken the paint past the drip rail and made a clean edge from the rear glass to windshield. yes more work but in the end it would look better. (is it wrapped or plastidip?) not sure about what youve done with the badges. looks like your acura is from a first gen TL on the left. not sure why you moved the typeS.

the first pic with the carbon fiber hood was before the car got painted . it still has the carbon fiber hood on it just painted it was done to give it more of a sleeper look by the previous owner. The roof is dry carbon wraped and the car is a matte gray. didnt know the acura badge was from a first gen tl and the type s badge i never knew it was moved i thought it was suppose to be like that . thanks for letting me know . i bought the car with the badges already like that.

Well that's unfortunate , carbon would have loked better imo .

You should get 03 lights , or paint yours yourself . Make the car stand out more .

That's what I got too.
Let me ask you this...
Does your rear mount bolt seam a little short on yours compared to the front ?
mine is.
Also do the instuctions tell you ft lbs for the bushing bolts ?

The hardware it came with was to short for the front and rear mounts so i just went to the store and bought longer bolts. Mine didnt come with instructions
