cl grill question

Why do I see some black cl type s's have chrome grills and some have black. Was this an option from the factory or do people change them?

The 03 comes stock with the color matched grill. 01 has the crome. Some people with the 01 change it to the 03 style along with the tailights, headlights, door handles some times cup holder and things like that.

you can just paint it yourself or if you want, buy the '03 Nighthawk Black Pearl (NBP) grill on www.acuraoemparts.com for about 50 bucks i think. i've been procrastinating on this.
