You can paint the headlight housings , or if you're interested in mine I'd trade you with cash on your end.

i got a question about intakes, i do have a CAI but its an ebay and the part that keeps it steady snapped due to a bad weld(not sure what its actually called).

would i be better off going with a name brand CAI or should i go with a SRI for half the price also a name brand? i also hear the SRI has better sound but then again the CAI gives better performance. would the performance be noticeably less at all if i went to lets say a AEM SRI instead of a ebay CAI?

true that, im also thinking of getting an exhaust. i see some people say that a full exhaust wouldnt give to much power gains at all except with headers. what would you recommend me doing for just better over all sound? i do plan on getting headers eventually when i get enough money but for now im just going for looks and sound. not planning on making this a track car or anything

Rather have cold air be brought into your engine than hot air from a short ram.

In my opinion I think you should try to go lower. Get an full lip kit, tint the windows. You should color match the mud flaps, I think it would give it a cleaner look. I just bought the same car completely stock, and I'm planning to do these things to it and more.

also id order some chrome turn signals/parking lights. they still blink amber but when off they look chrome. great job though

i was planning on taking the diffuser out but after i got the housing painted i decided to keep it on. it actually doesnt look bad with black housings. looked awful with chrome housing though.

i do plan on changing out the bulbs all over my car at some point but money is tight and i need to spend it on other things that i NEED and not on what i want.

pics of the finished product will be uploaded a little later today.

Mufflers be gone

Lookin good man! Cl is coming along nicely! Love the color! Honestly if you wanna make some noise. THIS IS JUST AN OPTION.. Loose the mufflers. I have everything stock except for an intake (AEM Sri) Willing to sell if you wanna buy it? since im parting out my car now..If not thats fine but like i was saying just do the muffler delete and have them weld on pipes to make it look nice and have them weld the stock tips back on.. I paid 70 bucks and IT ROARS. No rasp or anything.. All i get is compliments! Sounds vicious from 2000 to 4000 rpm and then the intake takes over around 5500? I think but together they sound great! Like i said just an option. I was on a tight budget aswell while modding the cl.. Considering im only 16.. But if you want i can put up a vid if you want?
