Very Nice pictures!
Advice:
Seems like the f/stop setting though are too low. I would raise it a little and speed up the shutter speed to prevent any glare. Also, play around with your white balance, it seems like the whiting in the pictures are unnatural. Also, when shooting underground, the best thing to do it take two shots, one without lights and the other with them on, then in Photoshop, base layer merge the two shots and use the eraser; that way, the background is very natural, but the car image stands out. Don't forget about focus either. A wider lense would also do some great work for the car!

I've been really dying to get an external mount for the car, so I can take some highspeed turning shots in the street capturing Ron's wheels and the Rotora BBK, I'll have to do that soon.

The best way to learn is to play around with a camera and go to a spot with low ambient lighting.
This is on my VW: External camera mount, 5mph, f/2.8, shutter speed 10", AWB
