airbags alone are gonna run u 800-1000. u need a new srs unit and two airbags.

Not trying to come out hard on you but, it's acceptable that you lost control while racing around on a curve, it happens, but to be doing it with NO INSURENCE!!?? Not to mention NO SEATBELT!!?? Come on man.... your life is way more important than that

I'm so sad to see another Acura suffering like that. Save your money, buy a front clip, and have a front clip party with a few close friends to get that car back in shape. It's cheaper than taking it to an auto body shop and you feel more love for you woman (car).

OP - Do you know how lucky you are? If a cop stopped to help, he would have made a report. Which means he would have asked for insurance. No insurance? In VA you lose your license and registration, then you'd have to pay the fine ($500 here), then to get your license back (another $500 statutory fine), a reinstatement fee ($500), and you have to file an SR-22 for three years which raises your insurance, that is if you can find a company willing to insure you.

I know the past is in the past, but thats seriously a very risky and expensive thing to do, and now you're out a car.

ya man here im goin lose my license, and i got a ticket for reckless driving. I will lose my license but i have to wait and see what DMV says. I Am very lucky to be alive posted speed was 65 MPH and i was 10 over. Guess i will have to file for SR-22 and ur rite man Insurance is goin be a bitch to get and pay.

I Did call my Insurance company and they gave me a 6 day grace period to pay the bill, but would nt extend coverage to beyond such date.

A true one, people crash from speeding, they make mistakes, it's part of learning how to drive or at least racing properly. Kids total their cars and it happens alot. The second time, now that would be unacceptable....

If you guys want to discuss it let's do it in PM's so we don't take this thread off topic

Racing properly is done on a track. Not public roads. Theres a huge difference between driving off into the sandtrap and driving into somebodies door.

Gotta love an Acura that doesn't leak. I have almost 200,000 miles on my 2.2CL and not one drop of oil has come out yet. I'm very satisfied with my girl (car). I'm shifting her manually but have an automatic and I am very hard on the gas, brakes, and cornering. That's another thing. Dispite the sway bar being a little to week to keep her level in corners, she holds tough.
