if you read my first post i said digital camera. i didnt know you are supposed to use the auto mode (i guess). i had it on night mode which brought the color out good but the shutter is way to slow, even this second time i used a makeshift tripod and still the pics were not totally clear, but a little better though, the pic when the car looks orange is from auto mode, much clearer but color is not accurate......

man, I would love to shoot your car, too much to explain in writing on how to get the shot just right. For one, a tripod works to eliminate blurriness, and stepping back is best, then zoom with camera to get the car with minimal perspective.
Looks hot either way!

black? sdg? my car had been sitting for over two weeks by the time i gotback in town from work a few days ago so of course the rotors had rusted, when i put the wheels on the rust actually matched right up with the paint and looked really good with the new wheels, made me think of painting the calipers, might get that done when i get the body kit

Really need to get some quality pic up, but from what I can see so far it doesn't look that bad. I had spoke to Ron about the same set up for mine about two months ago. Plus I just couldn't make up my mine on how it would look. Also I see you have some teins on your ride.....what drop are you on exactly as far as inches so I can get an idea for compairson to my comptech/hp blue set up.

I'd normally say black, but sdg could be a good look too.

i thought about tintingthe taillights but i think the red looks good, even the 03s i dont think would look as good on sdg. ive thought about 03 headlights and CF hood and trunk before but just not sure if i want to go that route. i have the windshield tinted, when you approach the car it looks so good with the clear headlights and fog lights with the contrasting black glass. the car definitely needs a kit on it though with 20s to bring the body back down.

lower the front a little so the gap is even, front to back, or slightly lower in front. Right now it looks a little uneven. And why not any front 3/4 angle views? Maybe with the wheels turned slightly.

ill move the car to a better spot, that place where i took the pics has a pretty steep incline (as do most parking decks) which makes the front look jacked up because of the way i parked with the front on the incline, i took some front pictures but the car looked lifted. all 4 corners are a true 1 index finger gap, no wiggle room, yeah i just saw where you said slightly lower in the front, thats what ill probably do, i havent gotten my alignment yet so i can still play around with it. i was going to get more pics but the camera died on the last shot. ill have some more posted this evening.

haha. im really regretting not getting ksports. i will go as low as possible on these tein basics but they are not firm enough for me to go as low as i would like, suspension is too soft. i have the rear fenders rolled but still need to dremel off the tabs, thats the only place i rub, and i only rub when i have a passenger in the car. i wish there was a tire in between 225/35s and 225/30s..... i wish the 35s stretched a little more but damn everytime i see 20s on 225/30s i cringe thinking about how little protection there is. ive been too busy this second half of the day to get some pics (and new batteries lol) so ill spend tomorrow afternoon on lowering the car some-more. im not really into tucked wheels but ill get it to where there is zero gap inbetween tire to fender

I see. In that case, either lower the front down to no finger gap, or raise the rear to a 1.5-2 finger gap, so that the car has an even or verrry slight rake, that will do the trick. Very rare that we see 20" all around on the CL, but when done right, it looks amazing. Besides, those 225/35/20 ride like 19" wheel and tires, so it looks like you got the looks and the comfort.
