JEEZ….Let’s ease up on the hostilities here.
I’m beginning to regret posting this.
There’s really no way to accurately compare car and Tranny combinations unless they’re all done on the SAME dyno on the SAME day.
I plan to go back in December or January for another test when it’s about 20-degrees out.
The car should have about 8,000 miles on it by then.
If there’s a local AUTO driver that wants to meet up there I’d be fine with that.
I really don’t feel the need to install the stock tires back on there for the test if I don’t drive with them.
Not to mention I don’t even have mine anymore.
If the wheels are really hurting me like 6-8 horsepower, just think what the penalty is on a STOCK auto with 18’s or 19’s.
I would guess they are probably only getting 175-180 to the ground verses my 230+.

Pretty impressive numbers! I have to agree with NovaWhite. When they dyno'ed my 540, idiots tried to dyno it in 2nd gear and readings were all screwed up....BTW, I'm not going back to Curry's ever again. Once I hooked up somewhere else, they hit it in 3rd gear and 4th gear and readings were pretty close.
I don't know if a CLS 6MT can achieve 250 WHP with just the mods you have, but you should be like closer to 235 if you went to stock rims. Despite what people say, going from 17 to 18 will not rob you 15-20 WHP. I dyno'ed my car in 19's and went back to 17's and I gained like 4 RWHP, no keep in mind that I went down 2 sizes.

My car hits ~113 on the dyno w/o any problems and I'm Supras sure and other high HP cars hit incredible speeds on a dyno as well.

My point is that some of the autos are saying things like, "well, i don't feel so bad about keeping my car etc., etc.," I'm not bashing.....don't get me wrong, just saying.....the 6 speed will dyno higher numbers etc.,

The dyno is to be done with 1:1 gearing. On the 5 speed automatic, that would be 3rd gear. The manual has the following gear ratios:
1st - 3.933

3rd - 1.700
4th - 1.250
5th - 0.976

Final Drive - 3.286
