Your Ultimate Dream Machine...
If you had "all the money in the world," and you could build the ultimate dream car, what would it be? Mine:
-'94 "JDM" Style Civic Hatchback painted Porsche Silver
-ITR engine swap, Top-Fuel Turbo Kit (the one that costs about $12,000)
-Carbon Fiber Hood, black 17" Advan wheels, Mugen wing
-75 shot of NOS (is that possible?)
-i/h/e
-maybe a boost controller? (is this also possible? I've heard of these for Euros, such as the Audi A4, but I wonder how it would work for a car that wasn't originally force-fed)
-ALTEZZA taillights! Just kidding.
Before you start flaming me, just know that I am genuine "riceboy" and this car is not what you might call a "dream" car, but it is what I've always wanted...anyways, back to college!
Peace

As far as sports cars go...the Viper works for me, if I was dripping with $$$....a 360M would occupy my stable, but would have the Viper as well.
Luxury car...well, what else would do besides a Bentley Arnage Red Label Lemans Edition .

Hmmm, I'd make due with a fleet of 450hp CL-Ses and a stockpile of extra transmissions.
A say a fleet because the transmission would break on one and I'd need another to drive the next day. And if that one breaks too, I'd need a third. So I figure if I get about five of them, I'd be good to go.

When the BMW 6 Series comes out I may change my mind but right now my dream car is the BMW M5. I am saving money by buying a CL now specifically so I can save up to buy one in a few years. Now if a M6 comes our in two years....I may have to get that instead.

I've had my eye on a couple of cars, the CLK55 and this other one:
An original, 1993 Yugo in bright orange with four, count 'em, four 155/65/13s on it. Pure, unmarred, black plastic surrounding the driver, quality vinyl seats that squeak when you move, AM radio with 5 presets and the optional telescoping antenna offered on late models. Oh, and Altezza taillights and a "Type-R" sticker of course.
It even comes with the extra large fries and soft drink now.

ONE CAR FOR ME... 1997 Porsche Turbo S. 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. spend a little more $$$ at a race shop by my house and... DAAAAAMN. that would be the fastest sleeper car on the road. u know porsches are fast, but that would be out of control.

That 911 is incredible! I use to work as a valet pt time. I was at Bridgewater Manor when the Porsche Club of NJ showed up showing off there trophies. Well, needless to say I had some fun that day. One of the last cars to pull in was a de-badged 911 tt. It had tuned exhaust, huge racing brakes, and real racing 5 pt harnesses. I knew that thing had to haul ass, but little did I know. I took a chance & took it out on the road. The speedo climed faster than the tach. I had driven them before but none of the others launched like this one. Popped the trunk & WOW... I found out later he had a stage 3 turbo kit all out race intercooler and other goodies. The guy had spent over 100k just on the engine.
I wish I had a g-tech

I'd be happy with the Lingenfelter 427 Corvette Z06.
From Car Und Drivel:
<QUOTE><STRONG>
But you don't care about oil changes. You want to know what kind of stomach-sucking numbers the 427 Vette can muster, and our test car did not disappoint. How does 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds grab you? Or 0 to 100 mph in 7.8 seconds? That's almost a full second quicker to 60 mph than the stock Z06.
The 427 similarly rips through the quarter-mile in 11.7 seconds at 124 mph and on to 150 mph in only 18 seconds flat—both quicker than any other production car built today.
