cl-s hit 140mph a cupple of weeks ago (not my top speed though) street racing a cl55 amg... you know i thought CL-Vs-CL should be pretty even right? so he let me take of first and 1-2 seconds later he takes off. I was infront of him untill 80mph untill he flew by me and i sware i thought i felt my car shift because of the wind that he was pushing when he passed me, like when a big truck passes you lol... so i kept holding it down until 140 and i slowed down to 40mp when i look at my rear view and i see some very faint red and blue's... like 10 min later (sarcasm) the catch up and the pull me over tell me to shut my car off, yank me out of my car, throw me on the hood, cuff me and tell me my car was going to the impound, the asked me for ID and i showed them my badge and PBA card from my "sister" and they said ok you can go but only because ur sis is a cop... so then i drove home doing 20mph less than the speed limit.

235 MPH at the Gator Nationals 3 years ago.........helps to know a freind that has a dad with a drag car with an extra seat............actually pissed my pants because the G's were so tremendous! LOL

135 mph westbound on the 210 in my old 00 Accord V6 when a new Mercedes suv with paper plates pissed me off. Lasted about 5 minutes and in the end my $23K accord burned the s*** out of that $45K suv. She tried going over 125mph but her engine just wouldnt go over that. Next time she'll think twice before teasing a V6 Honda engine.

In my TLS I went upto 135.
It was eastbound on US-285 in Colorado just coming in to South Park. I got most of my speed because i was coming down a big hill. It was at about 5am so no people on the road.
I'll probably never go that fast again, because I dont think a TL is really all that safe at those speeds....but if I was in a Porsche I would do it. And I really don't need a ticket for going 70 over the limit.

138-140mph cruising with a GTO for a solid 10 minutes on the Florida Turnpike. When we slowed down, I realized just how HARD I was gripping the damn steering wheel.

I would say driving 140MPH without a seatbelt on is like you have a death wish. But I suppose at 140MPH you'd die no matter what protection you have.
Stay safe guys. While you may feel confident in your ability at triple digit speeds there's a lot of morons out there who can barely handle 55 MPH and that's who I would watch out for.

130 in my old '90 Mustang LX 5.0...still had 2.73 gears and never got out of 3rd...few mods

140 riding in my friend's old '93 3000GT VR-4
Buried the needle in my '94 Integra LS with a Type-R head and stock LS tranny...but it had a JDM cluster that went to 180km/h so that's like 120...but it just kept going...
That's about all i can think of....

110 in the Acura. 170 in my Stealth and that was scary as hell! I can't see even trying to go faster in the CL without some serious suspension and tire upgrades. One wrong move = death! The Stealth is really heavy, planted firmly, and has AWD and AWS and it was still scary!
