What the hell happened? Your right front wheel is completely disintegrated. Lucky to be alive. Explain the accident. Hol-e-shit!

Lucky to be alive is an understatment.

explanation: Much stupidity + 260HP + 18 seconds + 0 - 200kmh = one hell of a accident

With the damage to the roof & windshield, it looks like you flipped it... You're one lucky guy.

I don't see any major crumpling, what the heck did you hit?!?

Damn man, you are one lucky SOB. Glad you made it out alive. As for the C230 goes, IMO it's a girl car. Go with the S2000 instead.

Hey man, Sorry about it, and i'm glad your ok..

But whats the story?

If your at fault, you can still share the story, I just hope people can remember not to lecture you since you OBVIUOSLY have already witnessed something bad, and you have learned from your mistake...

sorry to keep you people hanging so long for this story but i've been working my ass off the last two days so i never came on-line (i hate work).

before i explain things;

1)i would just like to say that this forum has the best, most compassionate members (mostly ) and that the acura cls rocks (at least mine did while i had it )

2)KHmER Co - can you believe that the hids weren't even scratched!!!but sorry, the insurance company owns them now.

3)Amir - definatley learned my lesson (at least i think(hope) i did)

4)Ruvz - go up to hwy 7 and markham by-pass.....the sweetest road to boggie on. just don't do it at 3 am doing 200kmh when you've never been on this road before.....even if the person sitting next to you says that he's been on this road a million times and knows every sweeping turn ahead of you (there no stop signs and no lights what so ever for maybe 5 kms of freshly paved winding heaven).

5)scorpius - the only race i won was the race with death I THANK THE LORD FOR HIS BLESSING ON THAT DAY he knows how stupid i was on that fateful day but i do believe that this has changed my life (in numerous ways but we won't be getting into that)

finally before i begin the story, i would like to add that me and 2 occupants walked out of this wreck UNINJURED due to the tremendous safty of the cls, all air bags(which my front passenger said that i was still steering the car even thou it was blown up, in my face) and a hell of a lot of luck

now for the story.....the night was cool dark and dry. there was three people in the vehicle. we were completly stopped then the accelerator was floored. 50kmh....100kmh.....150kmh.....slight turn.....175kmh......going on pure instinct on the sweeping turns........200kmh - better slow down (the road is a 60 kmh area with nothing but field surronding it and can easily accomadate 120 kmh speeds....until the end of the road, which btw is very close to me now)......decelerating...BANG (on the right?)BANG (on the left?)...we come to a halt.

as far as i can tell, i clipped the curb during the final sweep, bounced off it, went across a meridian (narrowly missing a light pole and a hazard sign) slid cross a 4 lane highway (this is where the road ends at a "T" junction) was sidways by the oppisite side of the road (as if i was travelling on the highway...u know what i mean?) hit this curb and rolled over into a farmers field. luckly missing a light pole by 8 feet and a traffic light by 12 feet - best field goal that i'll ever make in my life

now, when we hit the last curb, it flipped the car completly over and we landed right side up. the car was still running (sputtering) and after confirming that everone was ok turn off the car and got out(the door wasn't jammed). the first thing i see was my front wheel 10 feet from the car look back at the car and it's totally destroyed i had no idea that we had flipped, there was no sensation of flipping at all i guess cause we were going so damn fast .

what i learned from this experience;
1)thank the lord for pulling you through the idiotic things you do sometimes
2)never go that fast not knowing where your going and trusting the person next to you
3)get full fucking coverage with a 2 year non-dereciation waiver signed into the contract!!!(they wrote a cheque for $43 000 and change...so i ended up paying about $6ooo to use the car for 10 months )
4)TAKING THE PUBLIC TRANSIT SUCKS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow...sounds crazy!!! Glad you and your passengers escaped... A lot of people don't... Sometimes you just got to know the limits of your car.

Thanks for the tip on the insurance, I remembered I waived that option when I took out the policy. I think I will add it on first thing tommorrow morning..

Holly shit!

I've only been once to the Makrham bi-pass... which was also at night around 1:00am. I never even knew it had no lights. My buddy and I went together, each in our own cars (he owns a 94 Supra Turbo) but he's been tehre enough tiems and wanted to show it to me.

Before we went crazy on the strip we drove up and down it a couple of times @ regular speeds to inspect the road, make sure no hazzards exist and also for traffic (the odd car would pass by here and there). I also got to know the curves through those sweeps. We then booted it but spaced apart (I let him go first since he knew it better than me and I followed him, as hard as it is to follow a Supra that is).

I reached about 200km/h no problem on it and actually passed a car travelling at 60km/h which was on it (stupid, I know.. cause all it took was him to do a dumbass lane change).

I'm sorry to hear you totaled your ride on it though. I was there about a month ago or so. Not even 5 minutes later actually we went to get gas at Esso on 7 and 48 before doing a top-speed run on the 407 (we got radar detectors), and behold a cop stops us in the gas station ticketing us for no front plates (damn york region cops!). What was scary was on his radio as he was asking for our lisences, I heard the dispature saying "report of 2 cars racing...." then my heart beating like mad until I heard "a corvette and a nissan 300zx". Later on we did our top-speed run.. got up to 250km/h.. coudln't do much more.

Sorry guys.. got a little carried away but the bi-pass brings back that memory.

But after I read your story, I admit I think back and think how that could have easily been me.

Good luck on the new purchase with your insurance money.
