Yes, the track on this video is Texas World Speedway in Bryan/College Station, TX. It can be rented for about $3,000 per day. In a couple of weeks a local dealer is renting the track out for Honda/Acura's only. You pay $200 for two days of time. You get 4-5, 30 minute runs. So we will get about 4 hours track time for $200. Not bad if you ask me. Several CL's will be going. Go to www.johneagleperformance.com to sign up.

Thanks for the link! I would go if it weren't for work (and working on weekends too )

Hopefully some others from the board can go, wink wink!

I plan on being there, and if everything goes OK driving possibly as well (if I get my sway bars in on time). It's an awesome event (road course + possibly even some time on the high speed banked oval). Very much a rally cross event with the exception of possible high speed driving, will be taking pictures (if I am not driving) and plan to load it up on some site.

It would be great to hold are meet down there, but it's a lot farther than alot of use would like to drive.

I will, problem is I am almost certain they won't let him/her ride with me (for safety reasons). I might be able to rig up some mount or something (I don't think wedging the camcorder in the passenger seat head rest will fly either )

Hey let me know if you need a cam, I have a Handy cam that we could rig up in your car and it also has a remote.

Web,
How big is the Handycam?? I have a Sony but the only way I can think to mount the damned thing is wedge it in the passenger headrest (and I don't think the instructor would like that). Anyone have any suggestions on how to rig up a camera mount that's secure??

Its about 12in long and 6in tall. You could probably rig something up in on the back deck where the brake light is.
