Had a really good night at Capital raceway here in Maryland, 64 degrees and zilch humidity.

First run R/T .529 Capital uses a .500 light
60' 2.18
1/8 9.34
1/4 14.43 @ 99.78

Second run iced manifold for one hour, then:

R/T .726
60' 2.31 (spun alittle trying to beat my 2.18)
1/8 9.39
1/4 14.42 @ 100.75

So I lost some time at the line being aggresive but the colder manifold got
me over 100 mph which is what I was shooting for, I guess if I could have gotten a 2.18 launch on the second run I would have really been happy but oh well. It got so crowded I left after that.

 

Not very many CL-S's have reached over 100 MPH
