Ya ..yes a 2nd job to feed the need
Going to be wiped out for awhile...but until the goodies are puchased...working this 2nd job with 20 hours part time.
$700/month should be able to get me my goodies quick....
what should I get first?......
headers
springs
rims
body kit
brake kit (wilwood) - defenitly could use the rotors and brakes (shakin like a mutha)
etc etc etc etc
oh boy..........or better yet...a beater so I can stop putting so many miles on my car now...Sept.17th, 2001 ~42000 miles
just thought I would chat it up guys...getting bored at work...haha

Get the headers first...I did and love em! Now I just need to do the same as you, get a 2nd job and buy springs, sways and wheels and I should be done for a little while!

I hear ya on the second job - I got a real easy 9-5 job on the weekends to supplement my full time position....I do "security" at a retirement home (which is club Med for the retired)...
Its 13 bucks an hour answering the phone....Its my play money too
I would say do headers first
then:
sways
wheels and springs
then whatever
and in that order
And welcome to the 60hr a week club

Thanks..hahaha....been a member for quite some time now though. Before I told everyone at the reg. job that I wasn't going to stay after anymore I've been working the 40/wk. Before it was 60hrs easy. Of course I'm always on call for the escalated issues. ... One thing cool about this 2nd job is that I still have weekends off. Thank goodness. I would hated to work 7 days a week with no break.

When I was younger, I worked in the pizza business...
Used to leave school(as a junior) at 10 am & work 11>11pm flipping pies...4 days a week.
After school...60 hours was average week...usually a Tuesday or Thursday off only...sucked.

im confused...you have a regular job and got a second one? or you quit your first and have a part time for a while?
and also how do you work in the extra 20 without going on weekends? you work night hours on weekdays?

It helps more than you think! I worked a second job for 1.5 years (at Disney's California Adventure!) and made a little extra dough... it was nice. It wasn't really that I had a second job, but that all my time was taken up so I couldn't go out and spend money... not THAT 'saves' A LOT of money!!
I am working on another second job now... about $40/hr. doing some 3-D modeling stuff

Well, i'd definitely get the headers, then the wheels with better rubber and then springs with Konis and brakes.
